I was looking at what SSS forks are going for and came across these listed as 02 YZ250F. Are they something that was used on Ws or are they not Yamaha?

You're right, I was thinking the 05 body was identical to 06+ but they're not.

If I remember right you can put the 06 up to 09 yz250f - 450f factory fatbar triple clamps on those forks but you have to use both clamps off the newer bike as they are 2mm wider

Deff 2005. Only year for that bell bottom style outer tube. 04 was two piece and 06 was sss that looked like the ones on a bike today. 100% 2005 Yamaha forks. Couldn't tell you if there off a 125 or 450 though.

These forks are from an '05 YZ125 or YZ250. I wasn't aware of the 250F and 450F having these forks too. It makes sense though.

The spacing between the fork centers should be 2mm smaller than '06+, matching the '04 and older bikes. Also, in '06, the bar clamps became removable, and the 2T's got SSS forks and an upgraded shock.
