I think Go Pro is awesome but they really lock you down if you want to use all the on board "gauges". So much potential with that little bit of data crippled by using the quik program.

I really want to try the Sony FDR-X3000. It looks amazing from the clips and reviews on YouTube....

Oh awesome, can you walk with it and the footage is smooth? But it's missing speed and altitude and the stuff Garmin have ?

I have the Garmin Virb Ultra 30 and its an awesome camera. Its comparable to the GoPro 6 and I don't know anything about the 7. I do like that I can pair my HR monitor with it and change all the gauges around and to my liking. If you look through my posts I've posted some videos from it a few times. I'm going to try a few different settings this weekend with it so see what 1080p looks like instead of 2k.

I recently purchased a DJI Mavic pro 2. Haven’t really used it at the track yet, I typically just use my GoPro with litpro to get footage. Any tips for flying the Mavic at the track?

Check out the Rylo cameras. Cudby has been using them quite a bit. His IG feed has some pretty sweet videos.

Lots of control in-app and amazing image stabilization.

Maybe worth a look...https://www.rylo.com/

Thanks for the comments about the DJI Mavic. I just watched a review video and was blown away about its features.
I had no clue the camera or any other one could follow a selected target much less fly up to 4 miles away and go up to 16,000 feet.

Would appreciate any comments on the limits of having it follow you while riding or limitations in this regard. I see it can go up to 40 mph.

The review I watched but I’m sure there are many...

Some ski resorts are using these 360 degree helmet cams for their commercials and for real, it looks like you are there when watching on youtube.

Im not sure who makes them, but its insane quality.

Of you se follow me mode you can't do to scarp of a turn then the drone will lose you. The MP 1 don't have sensors on the side so you might hit a three.. other then that it's awesome

Tracks with lots of trees close by can cause the Mavic to loose you it will not fly into them so it loose it’s target. Takes awesome videos following you arround the track it’s fast and very clean videos.
