He shows great speed in Paris ! He is clearly a serious threat for the SX & MX titles next year (Matthes thinks the same). Honestly, he has improved so much since his first year in the states and DV has played a big role

talking about title contenders people seem to forget about this guy, personally I see DF24 winning a title in 2019. Him and AC seem to be the fastest in lites.

Ferrandis is sick. He has the foundation needed to be a serious threat for years in the US. From his post race interview it sounded like he was kind of average at Paris SX before going to US and I will say that he was head and shoulders above the Euro riders this year, so you could see the impact that the US has had on him for SX.

For next year he is definitely a title contender for both championships, and I think he showed that he will do really well on a 450 in the future. That track was incredibly slick so throttle control and handling on that 450 required some serious skill, which he has. There were some times that he was pretty sketchy though, and Osbourne and Anderson definitely had more speed. You can see that they are more precise in downsiding the jumps and smoother through the turns. I think another year of 250sx and he will really clean up his game.

I have been very impressed and very happy, I was really not expecting him to be that fast and that confortable on a 450 almost immediately. It reminds me of Roczen and Musquin's first appearance with the big boys.

If he wins a title this year, next year I think it would be a good idea to get a 450 ready and in his team semi for the east coast (if he rides the west in 250, or vice versa), because to show that he has top 5 speed or better in 450 would help him to secure a good ride then.

There is no reason to be slow on 450 for him
