He got better every race it seemed. And that's not exactly a Reed type of track, with it being so fast and tamed down. Solid ride for the old guy!

Reed was looking solid. 2nd race stall in the tunnel and getting Marvs boot jammed in his wheel was a bummer, but starts were great and looked smooth. If he stays healthy he should get that Suzuki on the box more than a few times through out the season..

I think I heard Mathes saying JGR and Reed want it to happen they're just trying to find the money.

Nobody can deny all the buzz this has generated, it's been a great fit.

The more race time he gets on the RMZ I can see him getting a podium or 2 in SX

One of the main things he's been missing the last couple years was starts..
Going by tonight it's safe to say he's got those back!

Yeah seemed like he never got starts on the Yamaha. His results would easily have been 5 spots better just for that.

Weird he was quoted as saying he always thought his Suzuki was a really good starting bike back in 09... but he got a lot of shitty starts on that bike.

l think it was MM's boot that stalled the RMZ, bet Chad wished he had an e-start.

If chad does get picked up by JGR for next year does Goose go with him? He has gone everywhere with Reed for the last 5+ years , and they have been a very successful combo even as far back as his original suzuki days.

Reed looked Ok. I'm pretty sure he wasn't where he wanted to be speed wise. First two heats when the top guys actually had decent starts he got quickly shuffled back. Third race he rode pretty good, but he was racing friese and Mookie and not Anderson, Musquin and the gang. Good to see his starts were on point and that definitely helped a ton.

Nah it happened as he entered the turn under brakes, could see the rear come around and then his line go off when there was no acceleration. Marvin wasn't there yet.

Edit. Just re-watching races without kids jumping all over me, Reedy actually went long on the 2-3... faced the 4th... that's what messed him up going in.

But they were in the race so officially he was racing them... jokes aside he showed he s got enough to podium in a 10 lap race . Right before he got caught up with Marvin it looked like Marv an Grant had him covered speed wise . Nonetheless he could of had a lot better overall if that didn't happen. Question is why is he so ordinary at qualifying and then improves for the mains
