At least he'd have been out there. BTW, what do you suppose would have happened if he'd have been on a AF500? Wouldn't have gotten beat to the first turn that's for sure.

Yeah you're right. He could well have holeshot on the AF500. Then moved back through the pack even faster after tiring out while trying to hold onto the 500 for 35 mins in 100 degree heat. Smile

Sounds like the old Ford "vapor lock" to me. Can I get a "hell yeah?" Nowadays they say the "fuel is boiling." The only other thing I can think of is some kind of spike that fried the box.

Similarly, Kehoe could keep fans/bosses impressed by grabbing a wrench & whacking on the cylinder, falling to his knees and shaking his fist at the sky, etc.

Kehoe should have done the right thing....thrown Davi off his bike then swapped Davi's number plates with Shorty's...on the line.

Erik has enough on his hands as it is and has the staff at the track to address mechanical/electrical issues. If they couldn't fix it there was nothing Erik (or anyone) could have done that would have made a difference.

Why didn't Honda start the bike after washing it? My dad always taught me to start the bikes after washing them then remove the ignition cover and dry it out.
