What would Bubba have done in Hangtown?

I say he would have walked with it with ease...

5/23/2010 1:28 AM

1-1
+20-30 sec. both motos
I would be interested to see him race a kx 125 in the 250s though.

1-1.. RV wasn't there.

Modelled some Answer gear, done a few interviews and wished he wasn't out there.
Guys, his fans are just living off memories as it's been soo long since he's been on a Motocross track, wasn't it MXDN 2008 at Donington Park, his last ride outdoors?

He wouldnt have made the start gate, it has been that long he would have got lost trying to find it.

He is yesterdays news.

No, it was the super impressive James Stewart Ride Day las summer.... While everyone else were riding nationals

|

5/23/2010 1:49 AM

Doesn't matter, DV. He wasn't there to do it.

If Bubba was at Hangtown Saturday morning, he would have boarded a plane back home and thought to himself, how the heck did i get here im not even racing

Truer words were never spoken. Let it die. Fast.

He'd have made the rest look like amateurs. There's one fundamental truth to motocross - certain guys are born with speed in their DNA, and they're going to win. No matter what anyone thinks about James Stewart personally, he's that kind of guy. And once he gets on the track, the only place he's interested in is first place.

And, for that matter, so is Pourcel.

|

5/23/2010 4:33 AM

There's a reason Bubba isn't racing. Pourcel is lucky Eli "made a rookie mistake". Don't think we will be seeing many "rookie mistakes" the rest of the season.

Pourcel was taught quite a lesson by a rookie this weekend then.

What makes you think Reed, Alessi and Co couldn't have taken it to Bubba if he was at Hangtown? Especially considering he would have been coming off a bad wrist injury.

That's like saying "What would RC have done".
Both of them don't race. People keep saying "stop talking about RC, he's retired." Well, James is not, and will not run the outdoors so............

who cares, stewarts a sellout. all these guys who get these last minute rides who were hurt found a way to race. i liked hi alot better when he used to like to race crashing his brains out at least trying to catch Rc

The outdoors don't need bubba. It is shaping up to be another exciting year just like last year. A couple more years and we'll be watching him on VH1 "where are they now."

|

5/23/2010 7:48 AM

Stewart could start backwards on the gate and kill these guys.

|

5/23/2010 8:52 AM

Would have easily won both motos.

|

5/23/2010 8:57 AM

Bubba could still get a on 125 and smoke the 250 guys. Who agrees with that?
