What's the point of a concrete start? To make it even?

You need help grasping the concept of a concrete start? really?
Trying to figure out what YOU think it will accomplish.

And a 45 minute main? Dude, people are headed to the pisser after 15 minutes! Woohoo

Break the 450 main into two ten lappers, with the 250 main in between.
Sounds good, might as well make it 3 ten minute races with 2 250 races in between. Oh yeah, that TV schedule gets in the way. There would be some serious fighting for starts and getting through the first corner in the top 5 with the shorter races though.

I agree... I am just throwing out ideas I have thought about...I think the starts is an angle that they could look into. The enemy of Supercross is the runaway bore fests that we see every year.

Supercross is a spectacle which lends itself to be tweaked...the real racing is Outdoors in my mind...

The Supercross formula of giving the fastest rider the best gate pick for a 20minute race is not working....

Apparently people hate turbos. Doesn't seem like much to need deleting. Check out the h2r Kawasaki. Almost 300 HP from a production 1000cc motor. 60 reliable horsepower from a 250f! And would probably still weigh less than a 450. . People make 50 HP from the wr250 street model that makes 28 stock! With nowhere near the engineering might of a OEM. We need lighter bikes but no one wants to give up the power to do it. Well charge induction is the way!
