What gear do you guys wear and why?

I wear Troy Lee Designs for the following:

1) I feel like the design style & philosophy makes TLD a differentiator.
2) I started wearing black GP pants with a different color jersey before TLD marketed it. I would like to think that I came up with the idea. I went this route because there wasn't a lot of gear out there for the larger guys.
3) I dig the vibe. Call me nostalgic.

After years and years of being anti-Fox I've considered getting some this year. I love the 180 CZar and the 360 Kila lines.

FXR is higher up on my list now too, seems like a good value and its definitely something different.

Supreme.

Sorry... I wore AXO back in the day. It was the best gear at the time IMO but they seem to have fallen off now.

I have 4 different brands. I have late 90's/early '00 No Fear gear that has stood the test of time that I break out every now and then. I have a set of 2018 Shift gear thats doing pretty good. 2 sets of TLD gear, the SE and the GP. Both of those are holding up well. I like the GP fit and light weight better between the two. I just got a set of that AM American Made gear that I'm hoping to test this weekend.

couple sets of the TLD SE and GP lines. Like the OP i dig the vibe, They seem like a cool group of people who run it and it has held up better than other brands in my experience.

365MX. I like the limited runs of the gear so I don't feel as obligated to buy every color when I can't decide which I like better.

I’ve had all the brands and can honestly say the cheaper lines generally hold up better than the more expensive (thin, light stretchy stuff) gear.

Lol - Of course.

I was actually sitting at work thinking about what gear I was going to buy. Thor had some different styles in size 40 pants that looked good. TLD GP was in the all black...which I hated but I knew the quality and fit would be good.

Light bulb went off...I printed a picture of the TLD SE Starburst...took my black sharpie and colored the pants all black. Boom. Ordered it that morning. I'm sure I'm not the first guy to go that route because they hated the all black, however that was in 2016 before TLD started offering multiple jerseys to match "mono" colored pants.

I currently have a few sets of AXO and a set of Alias

AXO I've worn forever, since my dad has ridden for them since I was born. They helped me with a ride also. It was good until recently. I don't know what happened, but it just isn't the same gear..

Alias, my wife bought for me last year and that stuff is awesome! Fits great and has held up awesome.

I'm getting ready to order a set of O'Neal to give that a shot since I have a hook up there. I can't wait to try it out.

I've have a few sets of fly from the last couple years. Fits good and has been pretty durable so far riding off-road stuff.

Recently made the switch to Fox Flexair. Pricey, but feels like Jesus handcrafted it himself.

I wear AXO, 2 sets are going on 3 years old and still look new. Other 2 sets are a year old and look new. Had some gnarly wrecks, not a tear or stitch pulled. Cant say the same for the Shift or TLD gear i had along the way.

I float around a bit and like to try different brands.

Currently I'm really liking the Seven Zero gear.

In the past I've also liked Answer Alpha series as well.

I'm not fond of the Fox 180 line. I cant speak on the 360 as I haven't tried it.

All of the upper echelon manufacturers are getting super expensive.

Fox IMO is the most iconic brand when it comes to MX. They design some of the best looking and technologically advanced gear.

I wish they supported the grassroots more, and I wish they didn't buy in on that supreme sell out...I haven't followed it much but I didn't want the core of the sport to be represented by people who ride wheelies down the middle of paved roads.

I used to really hate on Fox because it was so commercialized but they are a moto company and they have to pay the bills. I would rather have them stay in business because people buy a lot of tee shirts as opposed to them drying up because they only want to appeal to core riders

running answer elite and shift black label gear right now. Pretty happy with both sets but I like the answer elite a little more. I also am a big fan of fox and when I was younger no fear was all I would buy.

Had some fox 180 and 360 gear that lasted forever. Now i have two sets of Fly kinetic mesh gear (2018.5). I hate to say it but 3 rides into it, it has literally already started falling apart. I love the fit and look, but the quality is not what i was expecting. I'm either going back to fox, or trying the new FXR gear.

Got quite a few sets of gear I wear. I have gear from Shift, Thor, Seven and Alias.

I enjoy the history, fit and quality of JT. Still have outfits from four years holding up very well.

Wore fox when i was a kid. Since fox has become a brand for posers ive steered away from it. Tried fly for a while and then switched to thor. Been wearing thor for 5 years or so now.
