Being built like a brick shit house, and having a decent tuck and roll saved him. Gritty performance gutting out the LCQ and 3 mains! Had the incident with Webb not happened he likely would have slotted into 8th overall or better. I know, I know shoulda coulda but he went 8-7 the last two mains and was in 6th in the first when bad luck struck. Not to shabby considering he was dropped out a second story window at speed, and then had someone take him down in the main while riding his own race. I bet Coach Gibbs wishes some of his football players over the years were half as durable as Weston Peick.
