Top 5 again tonight, 2 races into the season, tied for 4th in the points, contract top rider for JGR team. If someone had predicted that back in 2012, you would have bet the farm against it. I still remember KW bitching about Peick as a lapper in a race saying "C'mon Peick". From that to where he is today is quite amazing. Just goes to show what hard work and persistence can do for you. Congrats young man!

Been a fan since that Daytona lcq battle a couple years ago. He is a bad dude. You will see him on the podium before the season is over.

I’m pretty proud to notice his potential already 2010 when we brought him to Finland to race first time. He ended up coming a few times more and won also!

I hope 2018 is the year he earns a permanent number.

Sure looks like he is on track for that at the moment, hopefully we see him on the box soon.

He has surprised me. He went from a guy who was on the bubble of making main events to a front-runner speed-wise in very little time. He got that factory ride and it was on. He put in some serious work for sure

I hope he stays healthy this year!

And remember when this dude was struggling to make the mains. Coolest story in this era in my opinion.

He and Mookie did a great job last night. Mookoe seemed to get better as the night went on/he started turning the bike more consistently and smoother-faster.

Weston is getting great starts and finishes strong. It's my guess that we'll see him on the podium before long.

I’m sure he’s appreciative to be on some factory equipment, and he’s earned it. But I hope he’s getting a fat check as well to be carrying a brand on his back at his point in the 450 class.

Pretty cool! Hopefully we see him on the podium soon and often. He seems like a really hard worker and it seems to be paying off.

Another solid ride for Weston! I agree with some of you guys on the podium action. I think he will be there at least once this year.

The guy is setting the bar this year so far on being smooth and consistent.

Heck of a dude!

I became a fan at High Point 2016 when he lost it, got pitched, bike goes flying and almost hit a piece of heavy equipment. He rushed to his machine and rejoined. Still got 13th that moto, and 10th overall. Wish this vid showed all of it:

If "Western Pike" is out for any reason, he is really, REALLY injured.

Pieck was on it tonight! I couldn't believe it when he passed Anderson back! That was awesome! He has got his starts dialed! Podiums are coming for him this season.

It's time to start putting the guy in your 5th slot of RM SX Fantasy. At some point, we should figure this out. He's a top 5 guy. It's really remarkable when you think about where he was to where he is now. Hard work pays off.

I remember watching him riding intermediate at CMC Trans-Cal and Golden State. My dad ran the gate and got to know Weston and his dad pretty well. We’ve been fans ever since. He’s a good dude that works hard and is paid off.

He's been in my #5 slot all year. The only guy who earned position points for me last night!

Let's not get carried away, shall we?

Good on him, hope he grabs a podium somewhere along the line.
