Shows you how much of a mental game this is. As soon as he believed he could win again, he did.

They made some bike changes I am sure. Bike didn’t look good first few rounds. It looked stiff and front where high and hard to turn.

Fastest qualifier, heat race win, and main event win. Perfect day. I hope the factory Suzuki 250 haters are choking on a large crow!!

I talked to Lee at Phoenix and asked what was up with hill. He just said nothing really, he just hasn't felt the groove yet. With Lee doing the motors and being head wrench you know the bike isn't the problem. As for hill how can you not like this guy. Well spoken, always smiling and always positive.

He's 29 points back with 4 rounds to go and 2 of them are E-W shootouts. I'm not saying it's likely but given the craziness we see in the 250 class he is not actually out of tittle contention. One DNF by AP and a bad race by Joey and he's right back in this thing. Long shot, yes. Out of it, no. Having said that, since JGR has the bike and Bogle is out with a broken humerus, I'd put him on a 450 for maybe 3 rounds.

Last year, Hill was on a rowl first half of the season winning 4 straight races then podium the others to win the title. If he win the last 4, which he is capable of, he is not out of it.

They have finally just caught up with the MXoN from last year when the same bike held off the majority of 450s in heavy mud!

Certainly helps when you get out the gate and aren't dropped instantly... I've rewatched a lot of his starts this year and his reactions have been good but he's just been left.

At this race, he gated well. Apart from that, Plessinger is the only guy who's carved through.

Didn’t he say last week it was the bike? Something about needing to make a few little changes.
If so, as a fan, I don’t care for that and would rather him own it a little more. Comes off, to me, as throwing the team under the bus a bit.

Maybe I’m wrong

Bikes do not win races, riders do. There was never nothing wrong with the Suzuki.

According to people who don’t know much, the bike has 10 HP.

Well....I have to say I guess I was one of them. To me....it looked a little under powered and the chassis didn't look balanced in sections like the whoops. On the power thing , from what I was seeing and from what Seewer said about his factory bike last year , he was down about 6 - 7hp compared to his compeitors bikes. And it showed.

Last night....it didn't look slow at all , and they have that bike balanced well. Justin has some amazing skill on top of that......so that definitely doesn't hurt.

On the motor thing.....I think the outdoors is where we'll really see what that thing is made of. And being from the NW , I hope Justin has an awesome season coming up.

He does great interviews....

Congrats to Justin. If any one on Vital mx thought that JGR sent the guys out on equipment that was not competitive, they’re crazy. “Hey Guys, were down 5-7HP from the competition but the motor is fresh. Give it a try” Cool
I’m sure there were some setting issues on the chassis/Suspension wise.

Hahaha, I didn't know you were one of them Jeffro! It was more in reference to just people thinking a team like JGR would come with a knife to a gun fight as far as the engine is concerned. As far as bike setup goes, that was definitely way off and the bike was not handling good. With that in mind and hill not pushing hard because of it, I guess that could be misread as the bike being slow.

I said he would not win on the Suzuki 250f, but I’m glad I was wrong. Congrats to Hill and JGR Suzuki. He should definitely do a few East Coast 450 rounds

I hear ya Joel. Whatever the reasons.....he and that bike looked pretty much perfect last night. Watching him ride too....the skill that guy shows is something to behold. So smooth.....looks like he only uses about 3" of that suspension. Butter.

I don't get why so many of you don't understand that it takes time to dial in the setup and get everything meshing just right with the rider. It very well "could have" been the bike, but it ain't the bike anymore. He was meshing with his bike better than anyone else in that main event last night. And...his bike sounded like about the most powerful 250 out there last night.

His bike sounded more powerful because JGR fabbed him a throttle assembly that goes to 11.
