I don't get it. There's more snow in California.

Today was the first day of the year that any track has been open in Minnesota, that I know of.

Conditions were fantastic, a huge surprise, considering how much snow had been around just a couple of days before.

They did a great job! Riding is a lot of fun, I missed it!

It was a great time riding the motokazie track yesterday! Lee did a great job getting the track prepped after all the snow last week.

Don't forget the first Minnesota off-road race of the year is next weekend. Course prep is under way, and yes this real. Haha

He argues with anybody about anything ,he's not smart enough to realize that 20 inches of snow in a community and 5 feet of snow on a mountain top are 2 totally different things .

God Bless ya, Minnesotans!

I spent two winters 100+ miles north of Duluth.

My observations: Minnesota has two seasons: "Winter" and "Winter is coming"...

Being able to blast across Lake Vermilion winding out a 1980 John Deere 440 Liquifire was a hoot, though.

Good Luck with getting the bikes out and ride safely!

No, X, it's just they are prepared for it ahead of time so it's not a big deal.

Plenty of large towns all throughout the west get way more than 20 inches of snow at a time and they would rather have 10 foot at a time storms because they spend shit tons of money when the news reports "Overnight 60 inches of snow fell" because winter sports are an incredible cash cow.

Just ask all the businesses how well it was last year with 70 feet total for the year. California somehow manages to make it work even in the residential neighborhoods. They do have one of the most elaborate snow removal fleets in the world though keeping the roads and interstates open. My oldest made this site.

Just 5 min north of the border, we get a average of 25 feet. This season was 60 plus feet. I will be trail riding up high by mid July if I am lucky.

Hell Yeah! Sunburn city! My buddies took their snowbikes out in August last year Pretty suncupped but there was still about 5 feet of snow up in most areas. On July 4th weekend not even all the alpine lakes were turning blue yet.

We went mountain biking and some were just getting a blue tint of melting out and turning to slush.. It sure helped out our drought though.
