..WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING
TO 1 AM CDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations of 7 to 10 inches,
with localized amounts up to 12 inches are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of west central Wisconsin and central, east
central and south central Minnesota.

* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 1 AM CDT Sunday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on difficult travel conditions. Tree
branches could fall. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph will
cause patchy blowing and drifting snow.

We have a 4 hour drive to get there. Most likely won't be happening now. Tickets and hotel already paid for. Sad

Thundersnow supposed to be around midnight---crap weather...it's rained/snowed/hailed and sleet so far today and the worst is coming.

We are way out west of Minneapolis, and we just got rocked by thunder out here. I saw a flash of lightning not too long ago too. It's just lightly hailing still, like little ice pelleting, not really snowing yet.

You guys will probably start hearing it soon. Thundersnow doesn't happen often!

Dang, that would be tough. My boys are bummed if they have to miss a couple of days because their track is too wet. Parking the bike for 6 months would be torture (for them and for me having to hear about it)! They live in fantasy world.....

But when it’s good it’s really good! The dirt in MN is awesome/it’s slowly turning in to a MTB destination and life ain’t bad! If it weren’t for days like today we’d have twice the population.

Things were looking OK here for a little while... snow was melting. Meadow Valley was posting teasers about when they'd open. We had some warm (50 degrees +) days. I started working on the bike, because the garage wasn't literally freezing. I was anticipating the local Kingston/Annandale crew to start firing up.

I'm back to being sad; but a couple of warm days will wipe this out and spring will come. If you want to see happy people, be here on our first warm days of the year! People smile at each other, wish each other well with spirit and we mean it! The first moto rides are great, you see friends you haven't seen in six months!

Exited about this race but this tape delay completely blows. Would it be so hard to air it on fs2 or something..hate how small this sport is

Made it to the MOA, not the best drive to Minneapolis: not sure if I will make it home tonight. Roads are closed where I live for now. I did have the truck in front of me barrel roll on the way here. Stayed with him till emergency crew arrived. They where cutting him out when I left.
