Thanks! Landing in about 18 minutes.

Supercross 2018 *** year of snow and injuried riders

I'm here, it seems pretty toasty to me. Gonna take a nap, then out for some dinner and drinks. Nice town!

Ahh, the stadiums covered so what’s the problem?

Maybe the turnout will be affected like Indy

We have a 4 hour drive to get there. Most likely won't be happening now. Tickets and hotel already paid for. sad

Just settled in to the room, made a last minute reservation about a block from the stadium in lieu of the family condo in Minnetonka. Photo

It was damn near 80 in PA today! Next week it's gonna be in the 30s though laughing

|

4/13/2018 6:02 PM

I'm looking for the thundersnow.

|

4/13/2018 6:08 PM

Thundersnow supposed to be around midnight---crap weather...it's rained/snowed/hailed and sleet so far today and the worst is coming.

I'll be there.

|

4/13/2018 6:13 PM

We are way out west of Minneapolis, and we just got rocked by thunder out here. I saw a flash of lightning not too long ago too. It's just lightly hailing still, like little ice pelleting, not really snowing yet.

You guys will probably start hearing it soon. Thundersnow doesn't happen often!

|

4/13/2018 7:35 PM

Agreed, haven't been able to ride yet, may have to get the sleds out again sick

|

4/14/2018 12:02 AM

Dang, that would be tough. My boys are bummed if they have to miss a couple of days because their track is too wet. Parking the bike for 6 months would be torture (for them and for me having to hear about it)! They live in fantasy world.....

|

4/14/2018 2:05 AM

Don't look outside... just go woken up again (thunder) average high 53 today 31 ... just great.

Jeez now you got me worried I’ll never make it home just to Tonka after the race!

After your nap I'm guessing you had pizza for supper.

|

4/14/2018 7:11 AM

Still toasty there? I'd like to see an updated photo out of that hotel room please!

Sideways snow. High wind. Visibility is ok. The worst is coming later. Crap!

|

4/14/2018 7:34 AM

Are the pits indoors? How will that work if anyone knows?

But when it’s good it’s really good! The dirt in MN is awesome/it’s slowly turning in to a MTB destination and life ain’t bad! If it weren’t for days like today we’d have twice the population.

|

4/14/2018 7:39 AM

Hour and a half to blow out my neighbors and myself ... this sucks ass !

|

4/14/2018 7:41 AM

Things were looking OK here for a little while... snow was melting. Meadow Valley was posting teasers about when they'd open. We had some warm (50 degrees +) days. I started working on the bike, because the garage wasn't literally freezing. I was anticipating the local Kingston/Annandale crew to start firing up.

I'm back to being sad; but a couple of warm days will wipe this out and spring will come. If you want to see happy people, be here on our first warm days of the year! People smile at each other, wish each other well with spirit and we mean it! The first moto rides are great, you see friends you haven't seen in six months!

Made it to the MOA, not the best drive to Minneapolis: not sure if I will make it home tonight. Roads are closed where I live for now. I did have the truck in front of me barrel roll on the way here. Stayed with him till emergency crew arrived. They where cutting him out when I left.

Yikes.

On a positive note, let’s hope J-Mart can deliver a moment like Dunge in 2013 in his first home state supercross!
