We had a father/son duo that showed up in a Citroen show up with KX125 stuffed in the back here in Southern California in the late 70's early 80's.

MXDN at redbud, me and a group of my buddies walking around the back parking lot came across this big camper with a projector screen and this chick getting plowed on the screen. Turns out the chick was right there at this camper. Her dad must be proud

In college my friend and his brother would do this.

Loaded a YZ400F and a 125SX into the back of a dodge caravan. Bikes were practically framed when they got to the track. Ill never forget the first time I saw it. Talk about dedication. Made me feel guilty as i had 5x10 enclosed trailer with 1 bike in it.

Nathan Cavaletto haha
So many stories about this cat.. Like the time a guy woke up to see him eating a bowl of plain white rice using a cut out of an old tyre as a spoon haha but I saw him more than once running around a track at sparrow's fart (early in the morning) in the freezing cold (for QLD) with just a pair of cut off trackies (sweat pants) and no shirt
I've been informed by Sheepy that it was a tyre lever not a piece of tyre lol.

Haha the old Chinese whispers.. That makes way more sense, I mean it's still weird haha but I could never figure out the logistics of the tyre in that particular story but that's cleared it up haha

Anyone else ever been involved in a take out move during a race that resulted in cops showing up and escorting people out after the finish? Yah? no?

No, but I was at a race when fights broke out after Billy Payne got pushed off the track after he had caught the 250’s from 2nd fate on his 125 in the intermediate class. An unnamed rider and Vital member didn’t like the young up and coming rider passing him... lol
Bill Payne (Dad) and his mechanic/ friend were ready when they came off the track. I was like, “Oh Shit...here we go” Tongue Being a good friend with the 250 rider, I felt the need to back him up or at least make sure nobody got hurt. It was pretty intense for a few minutes,There was a shovel involved and a few punches thrown, but the cops never showed up. I was glad that everything settled down, I had no problem with Billy and his crew.

There were plenty of scraps throughout the years, but I was never involved. Ok, that’s not 100% true, but no cops were involved

You wouldn't happen to be talking about early 90s in Blythe, would you? Or maybe Yuma?

My buddy was banging a chick at Swan on the step up in the front section late one night and ran naked back to the pits. Everyone awake was laughing. His wife busted him because the chick left a message on his cell phone saying she was at the gate and couldn’t get in.

If she was banging on the step up wasn’t sage already in the gate?
She didn’t bust him in the act. She checked his phone when he got back. He wasn’t fleeing the scene naked. He was just crazy and decided to run back to the pits naked.
I had some good times with him. He passed away a few years later.

Castaic mx mid 90s, my dad was pointing at the water tower along the back right corner after that back straightaway, some guy earlier in the year had whiskeyed off the burn and hit the tower, leaving a dent in it, as he was pointing it out a guy literally launched the burn and hit the tower again

Small world... I was there when the guy hit the tank. The kids dad came back all drunk, taking pictures for his eventual law suit he filed. I was standing by the starting gate when that happened.

That’s pretty funny I was maybe 4 years old at the time, did you hear about the second guy that hit it? It was a Honda I’m pretty sure

I was at a Wednesday night practice at Rio Bravo in the early 90s when half of the A practice ended up in a fight on top of a table top. At least 10 guys in full gear were throwing punches. At one point a 60 rider's dad, beer in hand, ghost rode his sons bike into the middle of the brawl. Apparently it had something to do with a take out that occurred the previous Saturday night.

I was at Bremen Raceway (GA) racing a Saturday night SX. There was a rhythm section where a guy got out of shape and got pitched off his bike and went flying through the air. He flew right up to a light pole where he bear hugged it and slid down to the ground and walked away.

Stopped in this port-a-pot situated in the middle of the long driveway leaving the track a few weeks ago. Didn't realize it was abandoned until it was too late.

A guy had a leopard or a jaguar on a leash in the pits at the 77 Hangtown race. Saw it leaving perched in the back window of a VW bug. The seventies were great.

Watched a vet class brawl between about 5 dudes about 6-8 years ago over a dirty move in practice. Saw a brand new shiny helmet go flying acrossed the pits and it was on from there lol that’s about all I’ve got
