This isn’t verbatim because I’m going off the top of my head here, but a conversation during the 250s went something like this:

Ricky: “Ferrandis comes from Europe and they ride in these conditions a lot, even since they were little kids, so he should do well here tonight.”
Ralph: “And we’ve noticed a lot of the riders from Europe do well in these conditions, Ricky why do you think that is?”
Ricky: “WEEEELLLL RALPH, they ride in these conditions a lot starting when they’re kids, so they have a lot of experience.”

I actually thought RC was rather good tonight. He seems to be bringing right much to each race and def improving.

Probably the funniest broadcast exchange I’ve ever heard off the top of my head lol.

Painful as normal.

Rv commentating the lcqs was great, clear and could string a sentence together, made both of them seem even more average.

I heard that too, but to be fair to Ralph, he was talking over Ricky somewhat at the time Ricky made the comment. Maybe he was giving him the option to repeat this with no interruption.

I don’t know. I really felt that when Ricky and Ryan were both doing commentary, they threw out some interesting info about mud racing. RV is very well spoken btw and I think he would do well in that role. Ricky will do better.

As far as Ralph, every sport has commentators with different roles. Typically you have the commentator who is just that and beside him you have the athlete who was once a professional in the sport. Ralph maybe doesn’t know the sport as some of you die yards on here would like, but he probably can’t draw from practical experience. I think they do fine. I’m just happy to be able to watch the racing every Saturday.

Maybe its just me but its like the commentary is background while the race is on and not my main focus.

Whining??? Reading the threads in this forum is what is painful (at times). Its amazing to me what people complain about here and seem to take personally things that have no impact on them what so ever. But, this is still the best place for all things moto.

Carry on.......

I had only sound from the floor during the broadcast, could hear bikes & stadium sounds but no announcers...it was weird, whenever the broadcast team were speaking it was silence.... I liked it.... until I feel asleep...

The fack they cut the LCQ just after 1st place and never show the results for both class is shitty if you ask me.

Even my wife laughed when rc was talking about how much of a pounding these riders bottoms are taking. Hilarious, but I think they are doing a great job

My favourite part of the night was when Ricky referred to the riders as "McRiders", must've had McDonald's on the mind.
