Crashed at the start, came back to 5th place, fastest lap of anyone with a 1.02.4 (Barcia 2nd fastest with a 1.03.3) riding an average lap time of 1.05.808 in trafic while JB51 is in the 1.05.5. Best SX race of Webb's career in the 450 class here.

I have said many times I don’t know what the hype around Webb is but tonight I swallowed my words..
the dude blew me away how well he rode!!

He looked so damn good. Was attacking the track better than anyone. It looks like he picked up some whoop jumping technique from Marv too.

He still looks so small on the bike though.

He was on! He would have had that holeshot if he got it turned. He was riding great and then on the last few laps absolutely ripped it. Reminds me of 2016 coop.

He looked so good charging through the pack. Great ride, may have been a memorable ride if he had stuck that start!

Very impressed with Webb. A shame Ralph & Ricky didn’t make more of it. He was the only one still jumping that tricky double-double at the end of the race.

Man i’m so happy for Webb ! Ok it is a 5th place but the way he rode was like a champ ! I really think he belongs up front and i hope he will shows great performances throughout the season ! Loved this kid when he was ripping in the 250 class and we can’t forget he is one of the few who beats herlings straight up. Believe the hype

Fantastic ride from Webb. And as some of you say, probably his best 450 race.

But we have seen him ride well in difficult and soft conditions before, it will be interesting to see if he backs this up on a dry and firm track!
