It's interesting that Webb's header is so short after seeing the setup that Coldenhoff and Herlings were running at MXoN. Those guy's exhausts almost looked like 250 2-stroke pipes with how they doubled back on each other.

Different pipes for different types of riding. Pipe and motor and gearing and suspension all different indoors versus outdoors. I know you know that you just forgot

What I was thinking is I wouldve expected a longer pipe would be better indoors for the low end, and the shorter one better for outdoor for more top end.

Not sure why my comment got a downvote, but ok.

He looks great. I really think Aldon can take him to the next level. Roger/KTM are smart they know this kid has huuuge potential, probably got him at a discount, and the worst case scenario is hes a solid #2. Best case the skys the limit. For whatever reason it didnt work on the Yamaha, Buuuut.... if they CAN get it to work now he has the potential to be better than Musquin. Look at where Aldon and KTM took Musquins career, and he was never as dominant, he had the right tools, smoothness, efficiency though. Webb has more of the Brute force riding style that Eli has when Webb is on.

I know it was easy to write him off after a couple so/so years but we all know his upside if he can get there. I hope he does it would bring better racing to the fans. Tbh I think this is a great move. Hes already a solid #2 guy but the potential is there waiting to be unlocked to be something great. Hell look at Anderson too under Aldon hes the reigning sx champ. Webb was much better than Ando in his career at basically every step of the way until the 450s. Lets see what happens this could be great especially with Kenny close to full form.

What's the need to slam the triple clamps into the stops...in the air?

I was a fan of webbs when he was on 250s cuz he didn’t take shit from anyone and would make them look stupid. Not so much since he became an aggressive roadblock on 450s. Hopefully he can get back to his old self on the new bike/team. Gives me a reason to not dislike rb ktm again

Kinda difficult to picture him and Musquin as teammates, and he best not piss off Mathilda. I wish him the best of luck on the new ride.

He looks more natural on a KTM to me- just like his 85 days. That Yamaha is fat in the front and he's a small dude. That is my superficial observation at this point. This just seems like a more natural fit all the way around, and damn-- he must be banking some major $$$$.

I've noticed that , more and more over the last few years.

I guess it's simple a kinetic thing - riders are whipping / scrubbing so hard in the air, the big metallic 'hit' is how you stop the forces you put into said whip / scrub. The old, for every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction thing.Science / Physics is Fun!

It sure does result in a hell of a shudder / snap from the plastics / the rest of the bike. The only time my steering locks get hammered like that, is when I prang my Bear brains out. That, happens way too often nowadays. Even at my Turtle / Snail like pace. Dizzy

From a guy that rides twice a year in the C class, I actually thought he looked really stiff. Tentative in the corners, the bike was riding him rather than the other way around so to speak. Could be his height, but that was my impression.

I’ve never been a fan of his attitude, but I respect his tenacity. It would be awesome if he could challenge Eli for some wins this year. I know that’s a long shot but 2015 cooper was pretty damn fast...

They have to do slomo to make him look fast because in real time, hes not.

He will be battling with Reed for 11th. Might get some top 5 after everyone is in the hospital twords the end of the season. He just does not have it.

I hope this move puts him back to where he was when he first moved up to the 450. He did so well in the GPs and MXoN at that time, then just kind of fell off. This could definitely be his year.

No it took him the whole afternoon to torque his sprocketbolts and find the right mapping for his factory ecu. After that he was blazing fast. Even 3 seconds faster than Herlings i heard.
