He got a heat win and podium in Oakland. Last weekend he holeshotted the first main, then was in 2nd and got a flat after the restart. This kid is going to be fired up and I would think Marvin is probably intimidated by angry Webb who was faster than Marvin while on 250's.

It will rain Blue!!!

I'm with you, if Dungey doesn't get all fired up about his home race I think Webb is going make it happen. It's not a matter of if but a matter of when.

...I would NOT bet against him. I know it's a bit premature, but the kid is figuring it out. Quickly.

If not this wkd, I'd bet he will be on the top box before the season's over.

I agree, its is a matter of when. If he keeps going the route he is now, I see it coming really soon. Maybe not this weekend, but for sure at least one before the end of the series.

I hope his first win is Atlanta..Be cool to be there for his first win..He will be fired up for Atlanta ..That would be considered closet one to home ..Gonna be a lot of Cooper fans at that race.

Pretty bold statement. If he holeshots and all of the top guys start bad then yeah, he may lead for a while until either Dungey or Tomac find their groove. I think it's as likely for Marvin to win again as it is for Cooper to win his first race this weekend. Big jump from running top 5 to winning. Tomac will come out swinging this weekend as he has nothing to lose now IMO and Dungey will manage the points, while trying to win if the opportunity arises without putting himself at risk.

After (being at the race) seeing him Practice/Qualify and podium at Oakland, hard not to like what he's doing.

I'm calling ATL. Webb seems to feel it at "home" races, with ATL being the closest thing to a home race for the NC boy.

I don't think Dungey is past his prime, but he has been passed by a few riders the last couple races. I don't have a list or anything, but a couple of those guys probably never passed Dungey in their lives until a week or two ago. Sure is going to be interesting to see if he turns it up in MN. Even his qualifying times have been way off recently. Maybe the flu accounts for some of it. I wish we could watch this one live...thanks Fox Sports and Feld.

Oh, this is about Webb. He can win without Roczen out there, and Dungey in a funk. If Tomac gets a bad start, Webb can out duel Ando, Seely, and Musquin, and maybe put some time on a poor starting Dungey and Tomac. So, yeah, if Webb gets a start I could see him parlaying that into a win.

Why would you think Webb was faster than Marvin on a 250 indoors?
Other than that I agree. But I still think Dungey will win his home race

He reminds of villopoto on his rookie 450 year. Won't be long before he's a threat every single race

Hmm, predictions stated as fact. Fantastic.

This site, this sport, is full of failed, pointless predictions. Then if some one gets lucky they act as if it's significant.

The future, by definition, is yet to occur, and is thus, unknown.

Webb will NOT win Saturday in Minny. Podium...yeah, I think so...but win, no. Dungey will put 110%?into his "hometown" race, and win.

I'm saying...

I'm with you on this. I know Coop has got some serious speed , and would not doubt for a second he couldn't win this weekend , or any weekend. One bad little dude!
