What a great read .. so much behind the scenes going on the last few years. If any one can get a win back for the USA at desnations it’s him. Here’s a quote from the article talking about his battle with Herlings
“I knew if I could get him off his mental game that I could beat him in the second race. So, on the line I looked over and said, “I hope you’re ready for this 30-plus-two because it’s going to be a battle.” I saw it in his face, he just couldn’t believe it (laughs). I knew then and there that I had flustered him.
Going to be awesome watching this kids career Over the next few years

Reminds me of hockey, some people get under your skin.
Doing something right bank account wise. Marv is riding like a virtual MX clinic but doesn’t have enough playing rough experience. Webb will play anytime, anywhere.
Webb is good for the sport right now. He's the complete package at the moment and it's why he's winning.
The Shop
it's funny i just read this same thing from roczen on the old suzuki when he was struggling (cept not the next MY tho):
""I went out there on a stock bike at the end of the day at Glen Helen and was going two seconds a lap faster than I could on my factory bike. On a bone-stock 2018 bike!"
Pit Row
Donn knows to ask decent questions
It took a huge set of balls to do that. . I actually think there’s quite a few similarities beteeen the two with there attitudes.
The whole article is a great insite into his last few years ...
Some athletes like the Dunge are quietly confident others like him, Reed and many others, put it out there rather then bottle it up.
Great to have some different personalities in the sport.
I rode a factory edition Husky a few weeks back and can understand why they (KTM) can finish 1-2-3. That bike is amazing and I couldn't imagine anything being better. I'm definitely upgrading to a new KTM or Husky soon.
“The difference between being cocky and being confident is when you’re confident you can back it up.” - James Stewart(Bubba’s World)
Now the 250 that is up for debate. The Yamaha does very well as a 250 bike.
I truly believe that bike is better than the rest but also the program and overall team just builds your confidence and ability.
The work decoster has done on that bike over the years and ktm listening to him has made so much difference.
One thing I have away noticed about the ktm is how narrow and small the bike looks. Dungey looked like he was riding an 80 that’s how small and centered the bike was. All that power in a small light size. No wonder top riders are winning on that machine.
That was an awesome interview. Gave us a lot of insight into the industry and what the riders go through. Loved it.
The day I quite I will put all riders in a list from very friendly to bloody irritating and Cooper is at the top of the list, very friendly. Same with the Craig family, Ryan Villopoto, Nico Aubin, Chris Pourcel,...
