Webb running Roczen wide at Daytona...

Smart move. If Kenny got good drive he would've had the inside in the next turn, would've taken the lead or potentially could've even run Webb wide/punt him.

Wise riding from Webb IMO. He was in a 'kill or be killed' situation. I believe Kenny or anyone in that situation would've done the same.

Anybody else find Kens ‘Not a podium’ interview a little disappointing? Ken pretends to have this Zen approach to racing this year. I call BS on that. He was clearly very angry and could hardly get his words out in English. You notice his German accent come through when he’s pissed.

Hahaha anyone that voted bad move is either a Roczen fanboy that can't see incidents with neutral eyes or doesn't understand racing at all. It was a brilliant move from Webb.

Basically ruined his main competitors first part of the race whilst not going over the line. Webb is the master of that, Roczen is the worst at that. This is one of the biggest differences between these two.

Anyways. Next weekend is huge for Roczen. He has to beat Webb, and i hope he does because i want Roczen to finally win the title.

Im on the kenny bandwagon but in the fight for a championship theres nothing wrong with webbs move. Kenny had half the race to prove hes faster and couldnt make it happen that day

Just curious if any were f you guys complaining about Webb have ever seen McGrath ride. That dude never hesitated making an aggressive pass if he needed to. He just wanted to win.

I am getting very frustrated on Roczen’s behalf - he keeps coming off second best in these scenarios and seemingly lets it happen time and time again. Crying on the podium about it shows how exacerbated he is, probably with himself. Just needs to give it back to Webb when he has the chance to prove he’s the Alpha, and leave it all on the track. Roczen was clearly faster but lacked that decisiveness to come out on top, which points to the mental game which he appears to be losing.

Pretty much sums up Webb in one sentence. He’s a massive dick and comes off as an extreme douche and cornball but he’s got mad race IQ and he’s slick.

The outside on that 180 turn on the start did not work for anybody all night. Ken, or someone in his camp should have known better and told him everyone who’s tried so far has gotten pinched off.

As a Roczen fan I hated it when it happened. As a race fan it's a pretty great move. Kenny could have won that race and Webb may have only gotten a 3rd or 4th. That's a huge swing in points

I am OK with it. That's racing as they say. They also say payback is hell. On the surface it looks all good. On the flip side I am not sure he should have awakened the sleeping dog in KRoc.

For all the Webb nut huggers what do you think about Webb just taking the inside and coming away with the lead, lol? How smart would that have been? Even if he would have come out in second he surely could have dominated Kenny and took the win, right? Seems to me he threw away a win, no?

Webb doesn’t a crap about a damn poll. The guy is trying to win a 2nd SX Championship. The move he made on Roczen was a good clean racing move. No contact, didn’t punt him, and put him right where he needed to. That is not a dick move, it’s not dirty, it is just smart. People who claim to not like “that type of racing” are full of crap. If Roczen puts a hard block pass on Cooper how many people get mad? If Roczen runs him wide in a corner are you gonna get a post race, off the podium, televised interview with Webb? The answer is no. This is televised because it creates drama over a smart racing move.

If Ken is so much faster than Webb why didn’t he just ride past him? He had 20 plus a lap to get it done. Ken, stop bitching and watch some video of Webb in the last 4 laps of any Supercross and maybe you will learn something about being a gamer and stop playing the victim. Supercross is a hard sport and Webb is a fierce competitor.

Listen I don’t care who wins the title, I like both guys but dang if Roczen isn’t trying to make me become an un-fan of his by whining about a clean smart move.
