1. He is very familiar with the program at this point and can confidently carry on the routine without paying Aldon, and in a more desirable location. (The former may not be true because doesn't KTM pick up Aldon's tab?).
2. He's doesn't want to train with Marv anymore. Example in MotoSpy (around 8:49): https://youtu.be/iSaL6yiSDXI?t=529
3. He's won two premiere championships and would rather lengthen his career than burn himself out with Aldon's grind.
The most likely answer is none of the above. All I know is that Webb is the most mentally tough bastard in the field right now and he could probably kick back and drink some beers and still win races.
But like in the Tomac thread, where I said it seems like he needs a change, what it seems like Webb needs is even more of whatever he has been getting.
The Shop
Most of us have a few years to dial it in, but professional athletes aren't granted much of a window in that regard.
Man, who's next? Jeremiah Musquin?
Unless he's switching back to Swanny, or using Aldon's program with Swanny as the trainer, who is going to keep him honest on days when he's not feeling it? Self motivation is good, but some days everyone needs a little push along.
Pit Row
Its not just Cooper Webb.. Its the contract between the KTM umbrella and Aldon has expired.
nothing has been renewed yet or confirmed.
could still be in negotiations or could see a new trainer come about.
Or riders could go solo.. nothing yet has been said.
could even be other manufacturers putting in a bid for Aldons program.
Its not like its Webb walking away from Aldon.. I dare say regardless, Webb will stay around the Baker Factory

Stewart

Roczen

Hampshire
the only rider who is a taller guy and did really well was Ryan Dungey. I remember Roczen saying he was so tired and weak during training that his legs were shaking. Is the extreme diet while on Baker's program too much for some riders to handle?
or are the successful racers under his program so mentally strong that they can handle anything Baker dishes out?
The point is nothing, it was just interesting to me that the shorter, thicker guys do better there.
Didn't Stewart, Roczen, Anderson all win premiere-level championships with him? I can't imagine what more you could want there...
Here is what Roczen said:
Just tell us. Halfway betwixt the 300 and 400 marks. You know you want to...
How did Roczen do after leaving Baker? Only fucking dominated the 2016 450 MX Nationals.
RJ Hampshire is riding his best ever.... I call that a Baker win.
Your claim has holes bro.
