He has the grit to win every time he’s on the gate, something James and chad said 99% of the riders lack these days..

I was a big Webb fan in his 250 days. The only reason I haven’t been gung-ho for him this season is because I wanted Tomac or Roczen to win the championship.

I like how he wasn’t afraid to push Marv around tonight, and with Ken out and Tomac not delivering, I might hop on that “Webb Wagon” after all

I like him. He reminds me of Chad Reed when he was his age.

I have been a fan ever since he said that “Frenchie don’t want none” couple years ago... or he said something to that effect (about Marv I believe) I like that he speaks his mind, talks shit and bangs bars... good for him this season!!

I agree. Webb’s the dude to put an end to all the nice guy bullshit and start a good ole fashioned rivalry(something this sport needs). He’s just the type of guy to have 50% of the fans loving him, and the other 50% loving to hate him.

I've said it before, but I think Marvin, Kenny, Eli, Barcia....that whole generation, they just lost their chances at scoring SX titles (for a variety of reasons). Webb could easily blossom into a 3 or 4 time champ if he gets this one. That kid with confidence is scary.

Webb is kind of like Bob Hannah, except Webb uses his foot pegs a lot more. Some people like the polished rider and some like the brawler.

We may be seeing the beginning of the Cooper Webb era in SX/MX.

I've liked the guy since his 250 days too and l agree this could get ugly going forward.

With confidence C Everett Coop could be a nightmare for all these guys.

Haven't been a fan of him because of his cocky attitude, but he is one of the very few guys that just wants to win. Even leading the championship if he isn't leading the race you can tell he's pushing to get there, haven't seen that in a while..

I honestly don't like the guy but what makes any sport is that you got to have the people you like and the people you don't like. Only when you have both is it interesting. So good on him. Much needed.

Was about to post the same thing. I think he’s got a bit of confidence in him riding well enough and consistent throughout. I think he’l get knocked back a bit when outdoors come & ken, Eli, marv & Blake show how to ride the 450.

Imo coop is better outdoors then indoors. I see more of the same happening tbh

I think it will be interesting to see how things go.. He isn't making any friends out there right now. With the championship in sight he better be careful who he is riding aggressive with right now.

I’m looking forward to outdoors. I think Cooper is gonna bring it. Kenny looked good last year, Eli is an outdoorsman (literally) Marv has been close to 2 titles outdoors, Osborne is coming on, Barcia if he can heal up, Bagget is gonna be full send, Wilson podium last night and is picking up steam, Anderson will be back and Justin Hill... jk on Hill outdoors

Hangtown will be good

Loved the j/k on Hill thing. Funny stuff.

I hope Tomac doesn’t ride outdoors like he’s riding SX this year. Most of this SX season he’s just looked like he doesn’t care about the title. Wonder if any of that has to do with the environment at Kawi, and why Williamson left. Inquiring minds want to know.

Tomac 3 time national champion. Roczen world champion and 2 time (?) national champ. I think they are doing pretty good.

He means SX champ. I agree, their window of opportunity is rapidly closing.

He is young and it could be his first 450 SX Title. Have you seen Barcia in his first Season?

I know and I agree with what you said as well, but they are the most accomplished guys out there at the moment, SX championship or not. They’ve both had some bad luck prevent it. Crazy.

I agree he will most likely move on. I’m not going to let it get me down. He’s not comfortable out there on the bike right now. The way he has faded at some races is not mental. The guy has never given up before and he’s not now. One of, if not the most fit guy out there. I would guess he’s getting arm pump which could be mental, but he’s not crumbling under the pressure out there. There is no pressure. He’s out of it.

Coop is like a mix of rc and reed. He has that ability like chad to win even tho he’s not the fastest. His racecraft is great. Marv is going after it tho, maybe payback coming. Marv cant afford to lose anymore points even tho he’s been faster the last 2 weeks. Or maybe tomac wakes up next weekend. He totally let marv have that spot at the finish
