With Musquin moving up and maybe few others from last year i can't think of off top of my head that leaves him with no serious competition this year. He is so much faster than the rest of the field it's just not even close.

He really needs to be in the 450 class.

It wasn't any different last year. He had a bad A1 but other than that it took him being 20 seconds back at Oakland to lose.

Yup thats true. Webbs really just in a league of his own. Cant wait to see him going after the outdoor title with martin then onto the 450s.

I think we can assume Cooper is locked up at Blue next year!

Prime example of why we shouldn't be forcing good 250 riders to move up. 250 class in the US is going the way of MX2 in GP's, especially when Webb and Martin move up. Apart from Webb there's nobody in the West 250 class who has won a Supercross. If you look at it now compared to 2-3 years ago there's a big difference in the quality of it I think

I don't think any of them have really been "forced" so much as it is time.

Even Hahn did what, 6 years and a title, Musquinn is older than Dungey isn't he, or the same age? Seely and Anderson won a race... Weimer battled Dungey and won a title the next year...

It's just the ebb and flow of the talent imo, and Cooper is exceptional.

I get that, there's not always going to be 5-6 world class guys coming through, but some guys that are exceptional 250 riders are not really built for riding a 450, like Wil Hahn, Zach Osbourne, who will have to move up at the end of this year, Martin, Bogle probably would have stayed 250 given the choice. There's nothing wrong with being a great 250 rider and staying in the class for a long time if all the best 250 guys are there. The problem comes when you force the best 250 riders to move up and take the competition away. There was a lot of riders who were 125 specialists back in the day

If he got a big enough points lead on his main rivals after Arlington, he could race the whole second half of the season on the 450, and that would be really interesting.

If Davalos was doing West then Webb would have allllll the competition he could handle (insert sarcasm).

If I got to take one of the east coast riders to compete against Webb, I would take Plessinger. Hill and AC could be good choices too.

Arlington is east coast unless they've changed it. So unless Webb is on a 450 he won't be racing there.

I liked what emig was saying about Cooper after his podium interview. Coopers confidence is awesome he knows that he is number one guy and won't settle for anything less than first place and he's the best. Mix the confidence with his exceptional race craft and ridiculous corner speed the kids going to be unstoppable. Reminds me of a mix of reed and Carmichael.

He is the next RC. Stamp it.
RC had about 3-4 championships, a perfect SX season, about 20 national wins and was racing a 250/450 outdoors at the same point in his career. And won the outdoor championship in his rookie year over the defending champ, who was also a GP champ.

I know you're joking, but, there won't be another RC.

Since they added Foxboro, MA, to East, there was one round that had to be converted to West.
