Muddy Creek. I was wrenching for Bubba that day. Malcolm was just a tiny kid, he stuck a T-Bar into our big fan...it shot out and nailed him on the head. He was down for a minute or so...Sonya was not happy. Great memories.

Right. From top to bottom, just loaded with crazy talent. It’s almost unreal. Kelly Smith in 4 stroke pro with that thumper head start. I remember him being on a pretty trick XR400, only 4 stroke at the track that day, mopping up a local fair race before he went pro. I recall watching him thinking, why the fuck is he racing that loud heavy aircooled pile.
