Been following you on Instagram, love this build. I messaged you about pricing for Mikuni mods after MXKing recommended your work. If money was no option I'd send my entire motor your way. I run my bars in my lap too.

No, Ricky was still on a Kawi in 2001.

*Edit* Nevermind, maybe you were talking about 2002? I just refreshed myself on what happened that year. I had forgotten about that one getting rescheduled.

That too lol Smile . I had a 03 CR250. The suspension and handling were top notch for sure. If only they had an engine, or one that didn't require so much work to get proper.

Great stuff as usual Chad. Can't wait to see more!

They do have a very good motor with mods. I'm sure Chad can get the case reed motor to sing.

I've ridden a full Watts performance 03 CR250. Hands down, best two-stroke 250 I've ever ridden. Zero hit, and it revved so incredibly high. Got off and said "so THAT'S how he went 24-0 against over-bore Yamaha fourstrokes." 58-59hp with virtually no hit. This was at Budds, you could come out of the off cambers at the bottom of all the hills a gear tall, touch the clutch, and pull that gear all the way to the top of the hill.

in 01 Ricky's MXdN bike would have been an ex-Tortelli 01 CR250 that Watts threw together. USA didn't go.

I know if I were into red two-strokes, I would send the whole motor, the TMX, and the intake boot to Wattsy immediately.

Yup. I do remember reading an article in 02 or 03 about a mx mag that rode RC's CR250r & stated it was putting out about 58 hp..
Still have an 03 that I raced that is putting out close to mid 50's hp (based on the tuner) & can say with certainty this is an exceptional motor with mods..
