Well, it's the same thing every year for us, the weekend before Washougal the house gets all excited and ready to go! This year we're heading out Thursday morning straight to the track to watch the amatures, then check into the hotel then straight to PIR for the Thursday night mx races. Who else is headed to Washougal this year? Also, it's kind of funny but I grew up in Sacramento, minutes from the track watching Hangtown, but for the last 15 years we have been living in Oregon and have been going to both Hangtown and Washougal and Washougal always seems to be a much more fun event in my opinion.. I just wish we had more events like GNCC type racing to watch locally.

Long time lurker here, decided to finally make an account. Our family is heading down to the Oregon Coast tomorrow morning to camp out and then we will be at Washougal on Friday. This will be my two boys first time at a pro national, I can't wait!

Always an awesome event. I will be there watering the S turns at the bottom of the ski jump with Bruce Barnes, as usual. Should be great.

Last weekend it was a big single after the triple. Sounds like a sand section from that single until the turn before the road jump in the back. Definitely will slow down the bikes. We saw Huffman and some amateur kids airing the hell out of the single to flat!

Is that sand section going in right after the finish line? if it is do you guys think that's in response to the guy getting hurt last year?

No it's after the triple where Jason Anderson Slammed. It's triple in the middle of the track then they took out the set up triple. It's now a single then sand section in the trees going up towards the big jump in the back...
