They widened the track alot for this race. I had friends over at the national and the first thing they said was how thin the track was.

Oh.Just kind of appeared that way on the puter'.Seemed like they were taking the outside line in the corners everywhere.Maybe for momentum in the power robbing elevation.

Five, six up to nine lines in every corner! I heard the teams liked the track.
That was second hand conversation from the Balbi/Brown team speaking for most riders.
Great track imo.

Not sure TV does the elevation changes justice somehow. Did look beat up at the end though, and with those long shadows the track in that last race really was one to seperate the men from the boys.

I didn't hear any complaints from the guys I talked to, and most were excited about it after walking the track on Friday.

The jumps were definitely big. The "FIM Rules", and "smooth track" urban myths about MXoN and GPs are just that...myths.

The track was unreal, I am going riding there this week if I can. Prolly be on Sunday. I hope they leave most of it intact. I especially want a shot at the huge uphill table (not the quad). There were definitely many high speed passing areas and many many line choices.
Although short it was good to see you GuyB!!
