Great to hear he still has confidence and a positive outlook. I doubt there has been anyone more humbled in our sport over the years, these last 5 years or so have been a true test of character. Been a fan since his rookie year and always will be no matter his results.

Thanks GuyB.

Well said. James deserves all the respect that he has ever received. Even if he never gets back to form, it doesn't change what he's accomplished and how bad ass he was on a dirtbike.

Did he say he had a baby coming? Can't wait to see his kid shred the track with rvs kids.
Yeah...due date of 7/7. Now that's some planning. Laughing

Great interview Guy B and yes I'm a JS7 fan. And if he decided to step away today then he has earned that right. But his interview said he never had a off season really ? The guy was in a off season for what 14 months ? He should have worked his ass off and from the pictures that was far from the truth. But come on James you should have been at monster cup breathing fire. He can say all he wants but to me the fire is not in his eyes anymore. He even says he has nothing to prove anymore to anybody. Then prove it to yourself or get out James because you do not need the pain or the money. My personal opinion and I like he says I will win again. Good luck James but now is the time to work whatever you keep talking about out of your system. Nice question Guy B about next year also. I'm sure he could not really say much while standing in his current employers trailer with mechanics around. LOL

There was a kid at the local races this weekend named Seven.
I was calling him Steven and someone yelled at me "his name is Seven"
When I looked at the sheet I saw that it was indeed Seven and not Steven.
I thought of James right away.

Good to see he's super positive and moving forward.
Hopefully shut up some Vitards saying he should quit after every crash.
Great interview, Thanks!

I want the best for James and the best for James is to win. I love his attitude and he knows it will take time but it will come and he's on the path to get there. Great interview

Good interview. That is the way to end speculation and posts by people like me by actually providing the fans with info.

Good job Steve.

It's unreal how many huge crashes that dude has had over the years, and he just keeps going.

Man Steve ,that had to be one of the best Stewart interviews I've seen. Very cool he's keeping a positive outlook on things. I was seriously LMAO when he was talking about big James being a " C rider " back in the day , and he sucked haha!
