UMM and we thought Reed was the great fisherman. I think GuyB has it mastered.

The fuel tank is constructed of five pieces, uses mostly billet aluminum construction, and is designed to slim the bike considerably.

Because it's so hard (and expensive) to produce, this one is the same, both in width and capacity, as the tank that they'll use for the outdoors. (Outdoors...can I get a fist-pump for that?)

Yep, the gas cap is recessed, and allows them to build a much longer seat than stock, and there are a bunch of other components involved, so that James can get much further forward to match his riding style. The sides are hand-formed, and graphics cover much of the tank when he's riding, so you don't see much difference, but obviously this one is wildly different. He doesn't often change up the gear guards on his knee braces, so the tank does take some abuse.

I've seen a bunch of really trick works bikes and parts, both domestically and in Europe, and I think this out-works just about anything I've seen elsewhere. Way to go, JGR.

Might be trick and all, but the stickers didn't match up perfectly with the seat cover.

Ask anyone on here, and sticker to seat cover alignment is CRUCIAL to winning races.

A custom aluminum tank is the trickest works part you have ever seen? All the carbon they use in Europe is pretty impressive.

Yep, its nice. I like how they left the tool marks in it from the CNC, and the Tig welding looks quite well done also. NICE.
