I knew it was hard, but the documentary edits always made it look easier than it should have. until i stumbled upon this video... Got damn, I used to think i could ride atleast a couple of hills of the course......ill stick to riding slow around vet tracks, thinking im fast.
The Shop
That’s some gnarly racing
Pit Row
The hardest part for me would be, mentally you just can't give two fucks about your dirtbike on those obstacles. I have a hard time as it is jumping off my bike in a sketchy situation on an MX track or in the desert. I work hard for my money and grew up barely above the poverty line. Beating the shit out of something you put good money into is hard for me to mentally overcome.
No bark busters, and he still had them till the end.
Probably all to tired unless you got checked out early.
I have a 300 and the first time in super tight single track and was at 9000 feet elevation I was over heating at times, put a fan on it and never over heated again.
What a killer race, a lifetime of stories from that one race alone.
Was awesome seeing riders just going for it, no fucks given. that type of shit gets me fired up!
