Hi guys

Just wanted to know peoples set up or if they had any guidance in setting up the WR AER 48 air fork, I have a KTM 150 sx 2017 my weight is 180lbs I'm currently running 125psi in the forks and have the clickers set to the manuals standard, I understand it probably a preference thing in what feels comfortable with adjusting clickers but wondering what PSI people run depending on weight of rider and were they have found the clickers are best set at for them ? cheers

Its been a year since I've rode with aer forks but 125psi sounds really low for 180lbs. I'm 170 and if I remember right I ran close to 150psi. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Use the race tech spring calculator to see what they recommend for you.

However I’ve had a 16, 18, and now a 21 and all three I ran different air settings so different variations of the AER forks might affect it. MXA says ride around with a zip ty wrapped around the fork leg and 1.5” from bottom is your air setting. I’ve thought about doing that but I just run the recommendation in the book and it seems good.

I have a 350 and a 150. I run 140 psi in the 350. 128 in the 150. 170lbs w/o gear. Vet expert. The 150 weighs 30lbs less. Thats why the lower pressure

seen a lot with the 125/150s people running 120-130psi range but some say there up to 140-150 psi range which to me is quite a big difference but maybe this is the fact that 140-150psi range is for the 450/350s .... manual says 119psi for the 125/150 Dizzy

On my 21's 150/250 sx when I bought the bikes the shop recommended I start off with 144 psi for mx use.
I'm now running 151 psi in them and much more prefer it. It's also what's recommended in the manual as stock setting. I'm 180 before I put gear on.

Vet B rider, '20 ktm 250 sx, 190 without gear....I was running 155ish for awhile but after the zip tie test, I found 140 to be way more comfortable (and also getting rid of those stiff Neken bars that come stock).

My usual riding spot is small jumps and lots of turns, so 140 is good. Probably would go 143-145 for normal MX track.

I'm riding the 2021 KTM 250sx.. 40.5hrs on it now (new rider entirely but improving and jumping/moto track riding only)

Running stock adjustments everywhere with 151psi (stock recommendation) in forks (sometimes a little higher 152-153) and 10 on the compression (2 clicks in from 12 standard/stock setting)... I am now bottoming out or within 1/4" to 1" of the bottom of the travel with the suspension clearing (60-70ft tables). I'm getting faster and before was no where near using the full suspension. I'm real curious what others are running for adjustments and what they find is optimal for moto/track riding.

Cliff notes:
Rider: C class/beginner
Weight: 165-170lbs dry without gear
Fork PSI: 151psi
Compression: 10 clicks (12 click standard/manual)
Everything else: Stock (standard) from manual
