I mean if we’re being honest with ourselves he *should* be going for a 3 peat this year. Without that gnarly crash last year the championship was his.

??? Webb was 3rd in the points, 11 behind Tomac heading into the arlington triple crown where he crashed in race 2. He was in the mix but had only 1 win at that point which was round 8.

reminds me of lewis hamilton. Everything goes his way. And is amazing at what he does. If only sexton takeout was in the main. but of course with his luck it was just a heat race

Webb makes things go his way. He never let up and he got Roczen straight up.

He only outscored Tomac by 3 points over the 7 SLC rounds.

If you use that logic that should’ve been tomacs third championship,
or is staying up right not apart of racing ?

Even Webs championship in 19 was very close to be over when he just missed the camera when he went off track

If Dungey didn't throw a chain and run out of gas he would have won the sx and mx title in 2011. I like to play fantasy too

You're forgetting how sick he was at the start of the season too. Tomac won fair and square at the end of the day though.

With the way Eli is riding and seeing how dominant Webb is in SX. At this point if Roczen wants to score one more title before everything is said and done he better starts aiming at the Outdoors.

He absolutely did. Not taking away from what tomac did. All 3 of the dudes are bad MF’s on a dirtbike.

Looked to me that Ken started riding a bit stiff, then was sitting down the last few laps. Cooper was in better shape IMO and wore Kenny down.

I’m a Kenny fan btw.

Even early you could just sense Cooper was stalking kenny. When he couldn’t pull more than 2 seconds I just knew Cooper would figure out a line thru the whoops that would work. Which was really the only section he was losing on them.

That's why they race to the checkered flag.

u could see Kenny pumped up, he got tired, he was spent the pressure cooked his goose ,Kenny is king of the sand in Europe. so sand really wasn't the issue, but it did show how spent he was ,but i know why ,his kid kept him up all night and couldn't sleep worth a damn ,and Webb's wife keeps distracting him every lap ,in that corner ,she flashed her tittles almost every lap .that legal in Texas

It was almost as if Webb purposely looked sucky as hell in the heat race just to get Kenny's hopes up about winning. Then shit on his parade in the main. That all happened, but intentional by Webb or not? A small part of me has to wonder. Whatever the case, It was gangster as F.

Looked like kenny gave up once webb passed him. Must be mentally tough to constantly be caught and passed by the ssme guy and never being able to respond.

Ken looked tired ? Late race fade? He wanted to have fun and enjoy life, not be stuck under Aldon Baker’s strict regime remember. Coop on the other hand......

Yeah it was killing me watching him in that sand. I was screaming at the tv. I couldn't believe how bad he was in it.

I suppose Aldon has alot to do with his success. He wasn't a bad ass assassin till he switched to Bakers program & of course Ktm.

Kinda goofy to suggest a lack of fitness in any of these guys. Webb was visually spent after the race. I think these guys sprinted a marathon last night and even the most fit athletes get winded at some point.

I’ve been on the Webb wagon for a few years now. He’s a stone cold competitor. I don’t think we’ve seen someone with his mental fitness and wit in the sport before.

Seems many people including RC but too much emphasis on qualifying and heat races. I think Webb wants to do well, but knows to save his best effort, energy etc...for the main.

RC looked completely past Webb, and was talking about Eli catching and passing Kenny, like passing Webb was a foregone conclusion, hell he even said Kenny was gapping Webb at one point, think it was 1.4 and stretched to 1.7 for a lap.

Grat racing, cant remember when 3 guys were so close for so many laps these last 2 races. It will be no suprise when ether of them win.

As for fitness, riding tight...even Webb was clipping the landings the last few laps. Got to appreciate how well Kenny was riding and the effort it took for Webb to be in position to actually keep Eli behind and to catch and pass Kenny.

Um...beat Herlings on 250s at the mxgp in NC, think that showed Webbs potential and desire etc....to win.

Kenny has got to be hoping for rain the rest of the way I would think. Might be the equalizer he needs at least for Webb. The guy on the green bike? Maybe not.
