Wow!! Says it's been sitting indoors most of it's like. Talk about one mint condition 1974 Yamaha MX125 and he only wants $700 for it?
Anyone know how much this bike is worth if I got it and did a nice restoration on it?

Mx125 and yz125 are two different bikes. The yz125 was gray with red and black. Mx was white like the pic

The 1974 MX125 was yellow, that appears to be a 1975. Doing a high end restoration on one isn’t likely a good idea unless you have a sentimental connection to that model. A great little bike, but they aren’t real valuable.

MX more of a trail version? I recall the Autolube, no mixing. Led to kids forgetting to add 2 smoke oil.

More of a trail bike yes but you could do some vintage racing with it. That sounds like a reasonable asking price to me especially considering the ridiculous amounts you commonly see asked for vintage dirt bikes nowadays.

They are basically just a stripped down DT model without all the lights and horn etc . Bullet proof bikes
