I'm hoping he's preparing for booth action at the 2014 SX series. He'd be a welcomed addition in my book.

He's probably sitting by the pool counting all of his money. Watching him kill it around the Texas tracks back in 1993-94 as an amateur, you could tell he was going to be one of the good ones. Seeing him bottom out during those Suzuki days was hard to watch though. I always felt that the huge base salary he was getting at the time may have been to blame for what appeared to be a case of burn out and then the snapped femur came about. I thought he was done. He had that look on his face like Stewart did when he crashed that Yamaha at Houston for the last time.

Seeing him come out of that funk was just a treat for any fan of mx and sx. He put in another decade of great rides and seemed competitive until the end. You could also tell that he was having a hell of a lot more fun that he was back on that Suzuki.

I'm betting he'll end up on a vintage bike, in England, at some castle, some day.....Smile

KW and RC back in 03 when he made his 'comeback' on the CRF450 and should have won that first Moto at Glen Helen until he landed nose first into that hay bale. He gave RC fits that season. So good to watch.

Man I was at that race. For him to come back that strong was incredible. Yeah, he crashed, but he was straight up giving it to RC when nobody else was even close. I knew how amazing he was, but it was still unbelievable to see it. MX is very lucky to have had him and especially for so long.

Hopefully he's enjoying retirement. I'd love to see him back in the booth for sx

I'd like to see just him and Emig in the booth. So long Ralphie boy.

I still miss David Bailey & Art Eckman. Keep hoping he'll come back and do some color commentary but it looks like Fro's got that locked down.

I have the two rounds & one moto on my DVR that he beat RC that year. Was unreal how fast those guys were going, & not to mention that nobody beat RC until Windham came back that year & that he was the last rider to beat him outdoors before that says alot about the level Kdub was at back then. The even better part about watching those races is as usual how easy Kdub is making it look beating RC, & how RC looks like hes absolutely killing himself getting beat.

I would love to see him doing what Dubach does (yes I know there is a age difference), Hughes, Bown, etc ..you know enjoying racing a different series of racers, expecially getting into Vintage...I can see him ripping it up on a 1985 CR250/500!!!
