It’s been a long time since a rider got dinged by WADA for failing a test. I’m glad of that...but I don’t believe all the riders have quit any kind of PED’s.

Not laying guilt on anybody, but Is it that WADA has quit random testing...or has everybody just gotten better at cheating?

^^^Who knows - no news is good news. WADA’s goal is to find violators and destroy them.

Yeah. How are they going to grow the sport during the corvid virus when a championship contender gets busted for having cross contamination in their recovery shake..... or tests positive for corvid

I’m sure someone has tested positive. They just have to wait a year or so to find out.

Didn't someone in the know (DC?) post in another WADA thread that 3 top riders were tested this season about 5-6 races ago? My memory could be failing me, again.

So what happens of Cooper Webb for instance wins the title, then a year later is said to have tested positive for PEDs. Goes the chip go to 2nd in points?

That's a real arduous testing program there (dripping in sarcasm). Most any trainer could develop a doping program to avoid detection if that's all that WADA is actually doing.

There was testing at the third Arlington round, and it looked like again yesterday after Atlanta 1.

Pretty sure WADA is just some guy warmed by the glow of monitors in a basement somewhere.

Don't worry, he'll stir the pot when he gets bored, or runs out of Mt. Dew, whichever comes first.

When they stripped Lance of all his titles did they crown 2nd place the champion?

Just ask Aldon Baker how to hide the detection. 😂😂😂

They would have but they had already been busted as well.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a post with no likes at all.

That just seems like wishful thinking from Roczen fans

They were stripped but never reallocated, as mentioned there was no one left in the top 10 that hadn't been involved in something. Most hardcore cycling fans either pretend those years didn't exist, or the pragmatic ones like me say it was close enough to a level field that the results are what they are.

I do know last year in the early stages of the pandemic out of competition testing was pretty much zero in cycling, which was raising some serious concerns. Things have returned to a more normal testing level, I'm sure the same for SX and MotoGP as well (and MXGP when it gets going).

Is this the WADA HQ that you talk about?

Oh, I see the point...just don't see why you decided to point it out.

Fact is, most don't like to discuss real questions. The post wasn't mean to garner thumbs ups. I didn't post about black vs. red rims, what gear "kits" are the raddest...or a JLaw sighting. I posted a serious post about an issue that's plagued our sport...and I guess every sport that involves professional athletes. Sad, but true.

I hope that none of the riders are doping. I have hated to see riders basically have their careers destroyed because an organization feels the need to show how powerful they are.

I mean, don't even get me started. Downvote away, boys!
