Do you think the riders heart rates for the RBSR were as high as they are in a full race SX? I'd take a guess and say yes

Still get the same buzz, possible slightly higher due to it being a sprint race compared to SX.

Depends what happens in the SX race tho.

From my experience......no.

I was sitting on my couch and got no raise in heart rate.

The old retired guys.....more than likely from the adrenaline rush since they haven't raced in a while.

No but the riders had half chubs going on sitting in the start box. No doubt about it.
I had a full mongrel listening to The Cats kx125 shift up in the whoops

This is why we need Jeff and Ralph to do the announcing. If they would have, you wouldn't be wondering about it because Jeff would have told you 4 or 5 times in a 43 second run...Silly

Absolutely yes. Higher if anything knowing it's a sprint race. I couldn't imagine sitting there on the start box trying to calm myself. I'd be trying to get as hyped as possible. Shits going down quick!!!

The bike is doing all the work on a straight race. Corners are what tires riders out. If you had ridden before, you'd know this!

That's an interesting question - I honestly doubt it. I've noticed that when I use a heart rate monitor during races, it takes 2-3 minutes to really get to the max range where it sits for the rest of the moto. With the shape these guys are in, I don't think they would get revved up that high that quick. But they are also on a much more technical track than what I ride, and competition jitters, so who knows. I'd love to see the data.

Yes huck, we're still kids at heart. Shit, one of us is already on their 2nd because he has so much of it to give.

and if you had a 300 you'd be lesser tired cause there's more injun so less work to do

My HR was definitely higher because a major get off on that track and at that speed could have been catastrophic. I just realized I'm old.
