Vital Post-Race Video Project Idea

We have pit bits, race recaps, interviews etc...

I would love to see someone walk around the track after a race and show us just how gnarly it is. I was watching the GH recaps videos and that track was gnarly. I think it would be awesome to have a recap video with someone walking the track giving us a first hand perspective of what it looks like after the race.

When I was racing, one thing I always liked to do was do a track walk after the race. Really it was just to enjoy just what kind of challenges I overcame. You walk some of these tracks and just wonder how anyone can even go fast over this rough shit.

It would be a great perspective we don't really get to see with any of these other videos.

Two downsides: It's very hard to capture the true roughness of the track on video... and we're extremely busy after the race nailing out rider interviews, photos, etc... There's only a handful of races we have two guys on staff at, usually it's just GuyB... so our man-power is limited...

I'd like to see this too.
An idea to make it easier: you could map a route for a drone to fly autonomously on friday and then have it fly pretty low after the races...

Just some good fan pics from people at the races would be good. I remember walking parts of thunder valley back in 05. Wish I had a damn pic of the inside rut on this one turn. It looked like a freaking frozen 3 ft tall dirt wave. Villo was on his 250f and was going in so hard all you could see from the stands was his head and shoulders over the grass. Pics of that kind of stuff would be cool.

Didn't Jimmy Albertson try something like this with, "Jimmy Talk" on a Racer X or maybe Grant Langston?
