Did they mention actual pricing yet on 2019s and/or left over 2018 model discounts? Good podcast. I know pricing/cost was discussed, but I didn't hear any numbers. My track is almost built, but I don't want to ride loud gas bikes after 5pm out of respect for the neighbors. Next bike will be an Alta unless Japan unveils a secret electric mx bike very soon.

Pricing is on their website for each model, here’s the link to the MXR. https://www.altamotors.co/redshiftmxr#redshift-mx-1

That was awesome!
I intend to buy an Alta redshift MXR asap.
My reasons in order of importance to me..

1. Silent runing will give me the freedom to ride when I like at my track without annoying others

2. The expectation that not having to deal with shifting gears and using the clutch will allow me to focus on body position, corner speed, braking etc....I expect it will make me a better rider..an improvement that will carry over to my gas bikes. Kind of a distraction free practice experience..

3. Low maintenance cost in both time and dollars..I really want to rack up some practise hours!

I see 2018 retail pricing, but no answer to my penny pinching, cheapskate, deal snatching question. Not sure if you are allowed to tell us even if you do know the real answer.

Does Alta plan on producing any youth models?

The 2018 models just dropped for moto and were reduced in price significantly. The EXR is technically a 19 model but I’d say it’ll be late in the year before there’s a “19” Mx model.

Is the timing for a 19 model an "educated" guess?

Great job on the video and podcast.

Just a guess, I don't know how much I'd label anything I say as "educated". Laughing I'm excited to see how Alta advances from model year to model year.
