How well did he do in his races?

It's not stock by any means! I can see Ohlins on the Thor swing arm, a PVL ignition & a Honda front end, probably with a Race Tech emulators in the forks & dual link Honda brakes.

Also a Maico only torque pipe & foot pegs!

Also might have a Mikuni carb? can't tell from the pic!

I've got one almost like it.

It would have been so cool if he could have won the holeshot award

Those look like Reiger Shocks on rear. Purple bodies with adjusters at bottom under collets. Another great performing shock, same quality as Ohlins.

40+ year old bike with 2 stroke air cooled carburetor, dual shocked conventional forks, drum brakes and competing in the biggest amateur race on the planet. Priceless!

50 year old Rodney on a 36 year old Maico went 30-25-22 for 25th overall.
He never even sat on the bike until practice started on Monday.
This is the 21st year he has competed at the ranch !

It was a blast!!!! Fatcat hooked me up with sweet bike ...Did not Break. ..lol. Ran flawless all three motos...forks way soft but the rear was good ..put 10 psi in forks that made it better.
