My first motorcycle from back when I was a kid is my VMD pitbike. Few years back, a guy flagged me down while riding it around the swap meet...turned out to be Tommy Croft. Said he's been looking for a clean one...hope he found one

Anyway, since I'm laid up with my torn ACL/MCL I'll be watching this year.(although I think I'm able to do the Holeshot competition on Sat. nite) My daughter is racing 4 classes ( 2 X country and 2 moto classes) and my son in law is as well. We are bringing 14 bikes this year -- 8 racers , 4 pit bikes, 2 to sell . My wife is making the trip with us this year for the first time ,so that should be interesting too,lol
But here's a little advice----
Yes ,definitely bring a pit bike--its a necessity. And keep in mind all vehicles operating after dark need a headlight and tail light. THAT rule they are very adamant on. I've seen guys having to push their pit runners back .
If you are racing on Sunday and would actually want to sleep on Saturday night, try to avoid camping in the "off road" field downhill from the Moto Pits. A BUNCH of craziness goes on there pretty much until daybreak,
Loaded and leaving in the morning. Racing a 96 CR250 Sunday. Been about 15 straight years, except last year of course.
100,000 people I am told. It's crazy.
