Based on Chris Blose's instagram, Vince loaned a bike to Chris to race today. Saw that Chris was having transmission/motor issues and had the motor apart last night. Good on Vince, and please don't turn this into a bash Vince thread.

Very cool. One of the reasons I love MX is that 99.9% of the time even your biggest rival will go out of their way help you get out on the track to ride.

Nope. Friend of Chris's that just wants to see him race. Don't be a jackass.

That's very cool of Vince to let Chris use a bike. That's kind of changes my outlook on him definitely.

99.9%? Im gonna need to see your sources on that one.... Cause that's a heaping load of BS. I think you have the word rival confused with friend.

I've received help and given help in the pits over the years from/to total strangers, friends and yes rivals. It is moto, not life and death and I'd rather get my butt kicked by the guy I helped get out and ride than grab a trophy or a couple of bucks extra because that person didnt get to race.

My post on his FB:

Vince, I didn't like you, or your riding style, or what you were about until today. I rooted against you, and hoped you never made the night show, until now. You have made me a fan being a class act giving a bike to Chris Blose to race tonight. I hope you do well tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ate my words, all the trash I talked. I feel like a true dumbass now. That is a class act to give a BIKE up to a competitor to keep them on the grid.

Vince's stock just rose. He's made some bad decisions but for some reason I'm always happy to see him do well. The fact that he's helping out Chris is a good thing for sure. Chris is an awesome guy and deserves much more support than he's getting.

I noticed you're a team mechanic, are you still here in Flagstaff?

I once gave a new tube to an out of stater to get him on the track only to have him land on me in practice resulting in broken wrist, ribs, and concussion.

Ironic that Blose qualified a few spots ahead of Friese.

Pretty impressive on a bike he has never ridden before, if I recall correctly Blose was riding an older model Honda so he is not even used to the model year let alone the set-up.

Still in Flagstaff, not working on bikes anymore. Quit a few years back and never changed this

VF is generally considered to be a good guy, till he puts a helmet on. Then he loses all capability of rational thought, and his IQ drops 30 points.

J-law gave an engine to someone a few years ago. For some reason I am thinking it was Wharton. Not Blake but his brother Tyler maybe?

Also, J-Law donated $5,000 to the fund to buy Magoo a new van. I don't remember seeing the names of any other current (at the time) pro riders on that list... I have always respected J-Law for that. Yes he spent 4 months in jail for fighting but that doesn't change the fact that he is generous.

I've said this before, but I will say it again. Treating your friends and fans good doesn't make you a good person. You're defined by how you treat people that you don't know or don't like.

??? Drawing a blank dude. Did I say something about him before? I may have but can't recall what you're referencing. I'm not a fan of his but find his bike loaning a generous offer.

As much as I hate the dickhead moves he has pulled on the track, I can actually understand where he's coming from. I used to do things on the football field that were so fucked up and never remembered it until watching film after the games. It's like I just went alter ego as soon as I put my helmet on. With that being said, I don't condone anything Vince has done but I completely see how it's possible that he just morphs into a completely different person on the track.

But at least you realize it, instead of saying you "don't know how you got this reputation". The bike loaning is a cool thing, but let's not start sucking each other's dicks just yet.
