He just seems to be able to do what he needs to get it done.

The pass sequence on Milsaps was flat out sick. Dunge was strong too. Good race.

Davi just needed a solid night to show that he might still have a shot at this thing and he did it. He's just riding within himself and that's so important in this age of the sport where everyone is going absolutely WFO and not giving anyone an inch. He needs to get something done soon but tonight was definitely something.

Yep, Stewart is fast, just not very durable and dependable! RV is just another version of RC, nothing mind blowing or flashy, just consistent and solid

Decent preemptive move on the BOOB. I see what you did here. Wink

Heh, Id describe Dungey as consistent and solid. Villo is similar, just with a little extra flash and pizzazz

Agreed. He wins the SX title and MX title this year..... we have to start talking about him with Hannah, Johnson, McGrath, and RC.

He is unreal.

And I'd add Villo a bit more animal instincts.

I was shocked as hell how much faster Dungey was than RV on the one half of the track. But that ended once lappers came into play and he couldn't do that alternate rhythm consistently anymore. Too bad, it was making for one hell of a finish. Both RV and RD flat out killed everyone else.

Dude, was fortunate enough to watch him destroy the MXdN field in '07 at Buds Creek. Knew he was for real way back then. No surprise to me that he's killing it. He is the real deal.

The pass RV made on Millsaps reminded me of a snake striking--I just shook my head when it happened.

I thought he was gonna be the next RC. Doesn't look like that's happening. Maybe my association is because gingers look the same....lol.

I wonder what Villo's up to today?

Dungey was there and he knew he had to make the pass quickly and made it happen. I was also impressed with the way Dungey hung with him for so long.

He's riding like a champion. He has a knack of winning pivotal races when it counts and the pressure is on. Still be cool to see the red plate on another bike before the season is done though.

Good stuff from Dungey too. Dandunes posted quite an accurate observation (I thought) :

Dan Lamb ‏@DanDunes818
RV is starting to get away from Dungey.. It almost seems like Dungey can, but is not willing to live on that edge it will take to race RV

RC used to do those once in awhile.

Yanno, if I posted something like that about Stewart and his appearance/skin color, I'd be clicked.
