Great Stuff to watch! Oh, and did anyone notice the "podium" interviews? The Kied, Emig and LaRocco actually ANSWERED the questions, and no sponsor names took anything away from the interviews. Man, we`ve gone the wrong way - the corporate way

the post race interviews sure have changed over the years.. In a lot of these fans are surrounding the riders OR the interview takes place AFTER the rider has already went back to the pits

I lived near Roy's dad and we trained together a lot during that time. He was like Kramer and would stop by to raid my refrigerator every day.

Yup...Pulled a 13th OA at Millville that year - A real bummer for LaRocco in moto 2. Went 8-21 at Washougal - I remember getting some airtime on ESPN in moto 1.

I just love how Bailey calls it like he sees it. I was thinking the same thing when McGrath just gives Larocco 2nd. Bailey doesn't care who you are. If you don't give it 100% Bailey will let you have it.

It's nice to see my bike out there too. I bought Larry Wards 1995 Nolleen bike at the end of 95 and raced it all of 96. Great bike..

Thanks for posting. The Donny Schmit memorial race is coming up in two weeks.

That was a classic day for sure. Donny came in his mini pick up, and rode his ass off. Didn't really have anyone there with him, just loved to compete.

Shortly after this race is when he started feeling the effects of the disease that took him from us.

I edit out the commercials, but some of them are pretty fun. Technology has come a long way in 15 years. There were a bunch of 1-800-collect commercials that I removed. I cant tell you the last time I did a collect call, now EVERYONE has a cell phone. A few AOL commercials as well.. they were pimping the "you got mail" feature...
