Mike Brown did a clean sweep,8 moto wins. I'm not sure how the Evo and twin shock classes were scored for the over all. One of the photos show Belgium 1st, USA 2nd and England 3rd

Go Brownie!
Besting the likes of Steve Ramon, Ken de dyker and Neville Bradshaw.
And not by a small amount, he is a total beast.

Great event, Brownie was fast as on a Doc Wob built Chesterfield Rinaldi 250 Yamaha, one of 4 done for the event, he was chased home by Nev Bradshaw on a CR500, amongst others.. its not an event to just look at who wins, usually one guy is the class of the event, and as has been the case for the last couple of years, it was Brown, who still rides full time, and as in the past, gets the best bikes. .

Tedesco came again, he was a bit further back but rode OK, Dowd was solid, only disappointment was Dubach, who had 2 first turn crashes , and was off the pace , which turned out to be a tweaked back, but he still rode.

I was there when he arrived thursday, and when being asked about how he wanted his camper parking, he was offered a choice, which meant he was facing the road , getting dusty, or the other way round, but tucked away.. he asked to face the road 'because its better for the fans' .. that sums up the event in a sentence;

Having ridden MX Rewind and Farleigh this year, there is no comparison in the events, VMXdN is an event worth every penny, just for the riders , the ambience, and the names who turn up . That makes for great racing in all the classes. Full grids and every class over subscribed. .
Unadilla is more low key, multi-gatedrop , multi class races make it a bit of a mish-mash, and no real names to speak of , but as a rider , its every bit as enjoyable, and the ability to ride multiple classes as a regular Joe , make it a great weekend, and the track is bloody awesome.. Farleigh is special, but for its history and memories, the track , apart from the woods, isnt that great , but Unadiila, even with the modern stuff thrown in is just arms and legs better .

There will be thousands of pics over the next few days , and videos , just wait for the event edits.

I raced the event and made a point to get trackside whenever Brownie was out there.

Blown away by his riding, hats off to him - just on a different planet in overal speed and style. The whole venue was pumped to have the US contingent over there, spoke to Tedesco and Doug and they couldn't be nicer guys. Roll on 2020 and hope to see more come over.

Brown was a beast, and so was the bike he rode. Bradshaw tried hard and that CR500 sounded good too. Great event!

6th time I've raced the VMXDN on my little 125 Cagiva. Awesome weekend, track is great and with 60 in each race there are always other riders around to battle. Best MX weekend on the planet IMO.

So how many different classes are there?
Just read on crossmagazin.de that Team Germany won as well, apparantly in the twin-shock class. Second came team USA.

Team races , there are only 2 classes, Twin shock and Evo (now Super evo) . The German Twinshock team are on beautiful aircooled Husqvarnas, Laurent Lacasse, and Berndt Eckenbach were very quick , as were the other 2 guys, i think they won pretty easy. I think the Twin Shock bikes Brown rode were German too, bit a different guy;s bikes .

Thanks Phil for the answers.
This event gets me more interested every year. Maybe next year I'll make the trip.

One of the "other 2 guys" was Josef Dobes who was racing GPs around 15 years ago.

Here is another pic of the awesome bikes they rode at the weekend:
