Might go might miss it this year.+25 +30 if I do make it. Haven't rode all year why not just out off the couch race red bud. Lol

My first vet fest as well! Ridden red bud quite a few times, but for one reason or another I've always missed vet fest..

I'll be 649 on a Honda in 25, 30, and 35. Going to get my money's worth! Lol

I had my first race at Red Bud earlier this year and I can’t wait to go back this weekend! +40 and +45 B.

In... 55+ for sure. Possibly 50+? I have raced this event the last (2) years. in 2019 we had (42) entrees, and last year we (39). I am certain this year will be just as big. Rode the "Stanton Classic" a week ago, and the prep was insanely good!

You live in grant park , that must be awesome. Over the yrs I would take time off in Chicago with different girlfriends. Million things to do. Currently I work for a Bulgarian, Serbian co out of melrose park. I check restaurants, etc out when I hv down town. A 125 class was requested, red Bud is having a +25 125 class 150,s allowed, at least 15 riders are required. Besides the usual 18 a,b 25 a,b increments of 5 to 70 yrs old. Racer x series has 18c, 25c incremts of 5 up to 50c. Should be a massive turn out.

I was going to drive up on Thursday night from Atlanta. Unfortunately, I have nobody to go with me.

Yeah I couldn't care less about the drive. I just want to ride RED BUD! I'd drive all night for that.

A few years ago I had to load up alone and drive myself 2 hours home with a dislocated shoulder and that was a nightmare haha. Ever since then, I don't go ride too far away without a friend or family.

Hope all of you guys have a blast out there. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the gopro videos on youtube.

I feel ya! Track was brutal! I think I managed a p5 in 30 p5 in 35 and had a 4th in moto 1 of 25 and in the second moto I was in 4th and got stuck behind a guy who fell in one of the deep ruts two turns after the ski jump. Think I ended up 14th or something o/a.. Practice yesterday 3 rounds, 1 practice today, follow by 6 Motos 15, 18 and 21 definitely did me in!

Here's my favorite photo of the weekend I think..

Had a great time at vet fest this year. Track and company was 1st class. Got p5 in 50+ A, p3 in warrior, and p2 in 55+. Hope to take a 125 also next year.

20 years ago, my mom and dad were standing in that same spot doing the same thing.

My mother took that picture and my dad was standing right there too..

20 years ago, never woulda thunk I'd see a picture like that.

I looked at results a few days ago if I remember right. In 55 a rider from Colorado was 2nd , if that’s you that’s quite a drive. Congrats on your results. Your lucky you didn’t hv to drive threw Chicago today. Traffic was bad inbound and brutal out bound. How many riders in the 125 class ?
