Headin to vegas for the sx for the first time. Just wondering where the moto parties are and the good stuff you guys recomend to check out.
I think the after party is at the hard rock?
Pole position karts look like a good time too

There is a paintball facility near the airport.... way cheaper than gambling. You can also rent exotic cars for about $600 for the day with something like a 150 allowance, you can take a drive to the hoover dam or just out into the desert on 2 lane roads. I had one of their Dodge Vipers going 160 out there. The pool at the Hard Rock is always scenic!! Take a walk through the Bellagio and Mandalay Bay, they are incredible buildings to see. Just a tip, take a limmo or cab to the race... or more importantly away from the race... you'll get the thrill of your life white lining in a cab through a bunch of moto traffic and you'll get back to the strip an hour sooner. If you see a limmo sitting idle outside your casino hit em up with some cash for a ride to the stadium. One year we got 7 guys there for $100 which was way cheaper per person than the cab fare would have been.

There is also an indoor skydiving facility that is pretty fun, there is a gun shop that will rent you a fully automatic AR... or pretty much whatever you want to shoot. From what I hear the strip clubs in Canada are better than Vegas. "Cheetahs" is all I have to say about that.

There wont be much racing in the lites either....no truck this year and it's not a points race I doubt they want to risk anything before the outdoor season, the only dude with something to prove out there is Hanny since his season is essentially over after this race until X games

Hey does Rick Bottrell still play in the band with Sara?

I used to work with him and he told all about what an awesome singer she is.....been trying to make it to a show.......The double down is a rather odd spot to play in, yea they have bands but the inside of that place is .....well let's just call it an "experience", ever been there?

Still I would definitly go to see her play.....anyone that goes has to have a shot of "Ass Jiuce" ....yes Ass Juice, it's their signature shot. I have never in my life been more hungover than that next day......Woohoo horray for ass juice!

No, he's no longer with them. They are opening in Tucson for NoFX on Thursday, and I think they booked the Double Down as a filler while they are there. I havent been there.

Opening for NOFX? thats badass, congrats!

As for the double down......Just be careful there and don't touch ANYTHING in that place, it's a dive bar that is a popular hangout for old burnt out metal-heads it's not a bad place just a Vegas classic that is very very much different than anything in the area and make sure you go into the right bar because there are some fruity bars in the same area.....It's walking distance I think to the hard rock

Hottest club in town is XS in Encore.

Other hot spots: Pure in Caesars, Tyrst in Wynn Las Vegas, Vanity in Hard Rock, Tao, Lavo in Polazzo, and Haze in Aria


Anyone want a table... hit me up. I have Sr Hosts at all of those night clubs but Haze.

We went there a couple of years ago. Windham and Reed. A cab from the strip was 37 dollars. Free bus back. Go to the track early, you can walk the pits free. Cant buy beer till after 4. Walking the strip at 9 at the morning with a bloody mary in hand. Watch out for the a-holes trying to sell time shares. Have Fun, and bring lots of money..............

My suggestion is to stay at the Hard Rock! The pool scene is incredible, even better now with the parties they have there with DJ everyday. Thats just the place to be! Wasted Space club will be rockin every night, especially with Hard Rock being the SX HQ again. You always find peeps over at the side bar in the casino. Hungout with RJ/Denny there 1 year. Partied with some of the Mulisha with thier Fight Club crew there. Those guys were cool, Good times! Every day/night you will find riders/industry peeps gambling somewhere or walking around in there. Pink Taco and Lucky 7 have good grub!

Sux, wish I was going back this year. Had all the plans to go and was ready to score our tix/reservations, but then my best freind that I was gonna go with got paralyzed in a race Sad

The Double Down is in a not so good area, gets worse when it gets dark. Don't let her go alone there, I would have an eye on her till she gets back to the mainland.
