A question on the sign up and transponder rent under EMX250 privateer style: I'm surprised by this number, i thought that the GP fee was ~1000 euro but the EMX classes had an entry fee of 300 euro?
And a question regarding how these cost relate to other classes:
Would EMX300 be similar in costs (just less races)?
And would the costs for a wildcard GP MX2 privateer style rider be much higher compared to EMX250? And if so due to what (next to the increase in entry fee obviously)?
Again, thanks for the info.
Going back to the start of the discussion (riders only having logos of jersey manufacturer and bike manufacturers on their outfit) & looking at the numbers you provided: I would imagine a typical EMX rider would be very happy if a company offered 10k to become main sponsor?
The Shop
- bikes: 4 bikes @ after resale net cost 2.500= 10.000
- parts = 10.000
- gear: = 0
- fuel, tire, oils: = 5.000
- mechanic = 30.000
- camping etc. ` = 6.000
- Entry fees = 12.000
- fuel for you van = 5.000
- ferry tickets = 3.000
- toll roads: = 2.000
- depreciation van&camper, tools, etc = 10.000
Total: 93.000 euro
That excludes a salary for the rider, and no costs for a teammanager.
Would that be a ballpark figure for doing the 12 european rounds of MX2?
And no sorry, don't have any sponsorship available
I would consider the source good, the question is if I remember it right. But I think so.
