I have a 5 gallon pale of VP 110 I cracked open and used only a gallon of it , 2.5 years ago. I got injured and had to take some time off. I've left the cap screwed on and it's stayed in the metal pale this whole time. I'm about 95% sure it's still good , but wanted to see what you guys thought? Getting ready to get back on the bikes here in the next week or two.

Run it. I’ve done the same and had no issues. I cut it 50/50 with pump though when I ran it.

That's exactly what I do to Joe. I like cutting it down 50/50 with non-ethenol clean fuel. Wanted my first ride day , to be today but I'm trashed from work. Thanks for the reply.

Mine was stored in a garage. Maybe storing in a shed with north east season temp changes could effect things differently.

I store mine in the metal containers it comes in, I’ve ran it up to a year old. 🤷🏻‍♂️

If you think there is any question, pour it into clear 1 gallon containers that you can inspect it for any contamination (water, etc) Don't shake it up first, as water will settle to the bottom and it will be more easy to see in that last gallon. If that checks out good, I would'nt worry about the fuel going "stale", I'm sure its fine.

Run it Jeffro. I took a two year injury break and had a can of C12 that had been opened, I ran it with no problems.

Got it man. I'll give this jug a try. Seems like a waste to throw it out. If it runs crappy I can throw it in the lawn mower next spring.

The other uses old VP for for Gernies and pumps, mind you he has about 10 Gernies sitting in the skip bin

As long as it was in a metal can you should be good. Check that it has not drawn condensation. If you had it stored correctly you are good.
