Around here that bike with OEM forks would be appropriately advertised for $3k and probably sell for a few hundred below that. Condition looks okay for a 2013 but used 250F’s are always a gamble.

What makes this a great deal, are those recent production Showa A Kit forks. If they are in good shape and are the real deal with billet lugs, they could be worth more than what the bike is being advertised for. They look a lot like the ones RG3 imports such as the ones here... https://www.ebay.com/itm/322918330087
But if they are just OEM forks with coatings, they aren’t worth nearly as much as a pair of A Kit forks.

Maybe its just me but anytime I read that the engine has been totally rebuilt.....I run away, fast. Not that many people around that I know can competently rebuild an entire 4 stroke engine.

Plus I guess I don't generally buy used bikes that have more than a few hours put on them. I really like the ads that say " only ridden once....injury forces sale.....please come take this monster out of my garage so I don't have to remember what it did to me. Smile

If he has the documentation to back up engine work, as well as the suspension being an authentic A-kit, that is a good price, especially if you can get it for a bit lower.

If it’s NOT an A-kit, it’s probably worth $3k in perfect shape, with documentation.

I would buy it, only if that ad said "vet owned". But alas, it doesn't.

With the tubes being so dark I'm REALLY leaning on it being stock forks with coatings. Kashima is usually very close color between batches and not that dark. Would have to see the lugs to know 100%

I would stay away from “it s got AN a kit suspension” and the money in suspension and pro circuit pipe, then you go and slap Yoshimura ex decal kit on bike. Kinda looks wack to me. Usually when I see a ford truck with a chev sticker in back window, it is a turd.
